Today I got out on the Nighthawk for a ride.  First nice weather for awhile and first that I've ridden since I sold the Valk.

The handlebar risers that I installed helped my wrist.  In fact, it was great to be in the wind again.

Here's a pic of the "Presidents Corner"  the junction of four townships named after presidents, don't ask me which ones, I forgot (old age is a creepin'). I thought that I'd be able to read them in the photo.  Smiley

Glad to hear you are back in the wind. Man, I always liked the looks of those bikes and always wanted one too.

I loved my Nighthawk, should have never sold it, but needed the money to buy the Fatlady.

Talk about a fast, nimble motorcycle! I miss it.

How about a better picture of the bike with the bags and all. It looks like a nice setup.

Be sure to post the picture in the What do you ride thread.

I've never actually rode a Honda 750 inline 4 (I have rode a V4 Magna). Lots of other sizes smaller and bigger but never a the ol 750.

Thanks all.

Raymond, if you recall, I bought a V4 Magna a few years ago but didn't like the forward pegs, cruiser style. While the 750 Magna had more power than the 750 Nighthawk,  I like the standard UJM peg position of the Nighthawk.

I'll post a pic shortly of the Nighthawk.  I was very lucky to buy it at a good price about 1 1/2 years ago.  12k miles and in excellent shape.  The owner took excellent care of it, even installed a SS braided brake line. I originally thought that I had a oil leak at the front sprocket but it was too much grease from lubing the chain.  This '91 'Hawk has hydraulic lifters and a a broad power band, not fast but OK.
