Will these fit our bikes? Will the OEM cables reach? Any hardware fitment problems? Thanks

You'll have to slightly drill out the holes in the triple tree, cables will not be an issue.

they are aftermarket risers, usually custom chrome, etc. I don't know anybody who has installed that type on a valkyrie. they look like it will be too close to tank.

these are the ones most have used including myself. they are copies of the HD Deuce risers.

Those are good looking.

Does anyone have these on an IS ?  Can they be installed without making other modifications ?

Before you buy those, read this by our very own Daniel Meyer;

The right side riser is the only style I'll use on either my Standard or IS.

The JP Cycles  Deuce copy will fit an IS - at least with the bars I also swapped to at the same time.
They are also beefier than the ones Daniel had a problem with.

I went to a flatter style bar - almost a dirt bike style.  Slight pullback, maybe a 4" RISE.  No cowhorn style.  That said, the clutch cable end just barely clears the IS dash.

Let me know if you want a pic.

IF you change your risers make sure to double check the cable holders on the handle bars - don't know the official name but they look like black zip ties that hole the cables to the handle bars on each side.  The locking portion of the zip tie typically faces the rider and should be rotated 180* away from the rider after changing risers.  If not, when turning the wheel from full left to full right turns MAY result in the locking portion of the zip tie to touch or even dent the gas tank.  Don't ask me how I know this!!   uglystupid2 uglystupid2 NOT saying this is true of ALL riser changes - just providing an alert for you to double and triple check for adequate clearance between the gas tank and locking portion of the zip tie BEFORE you finalize the riser change.  Just sayin'

Good luck !
