Have 2-3 Valk riders coming by for a visit, weather permitting. Page3man, TC, and possibly Jack unless work interferes or you guys pull him away.  Wink  It's OK either way, Page3man is coming to check out the 1200 and TC (lives in Hunter's Creek as I recall) is riding along, anyone else is more than welcome. Just keep in mind it's city traffic so you keep both feet off the highway pegs and the music off....pay attention. Will be good to have some company for a short while since I'm unable to get out. I ordered a National Cycle windshield and it's supposed to be delivered tomorrow(Fri.) so may be I can get it installed before they get here. Should leave just one item left on the 1200.....the seat. I've been in touch about it with another rider that lives up near Inverness, Tom Rudd a/k/a Musclehead. Goes by Valkyrierider40 on screen, some of you have met him when we had an RTE up that way. He's quite busy so it remains an open issue re. the seat.

Bcoy, I contacted those folks you used, left a message on their "contact us" email box but have never heard back.

I haven't seen them in awhile, not sure what their preferred method of contact is, did you trying calling them instead of leaving an email message?  When I had my daughter's seat done I first called then set up a meeting and started emailing back and forth during the process of them recovering her seat. I will dig around to see if they are still in business.

Jack, I don't know what time he was talking about, just mentioned Sat. morning. Another member from over west of here is coming to pick up some parts and plans to be here around 10:30-11:00. You guys realize this if forcing me to wash my Valk, covered with dust from a couple dirty projects. I did polish up the 1200, old gal doesn't look half bad.

Ok. Page3man and I will be heading over to John's place tmrw morning.
Thinking of leaving the Kissimmee are around 8:30am so if anyone else is on the fence go ahead and jump in or meet us there.
It will be good to visit with John and look at his project but mostly to check how good he is at cleaning his Valk.  Grin

Never had a chance at cleaning, I did blow off the first layer of dust though. Rained off/on most of the day here, aggravating 'cuz I wanted to hit it with the hose. Guess I could have done it in the rain, but was afraid of melting.  Roll Eyes

Well, Page3man and I never made it to John's place today.

I will confess and say that it was my fault and I am ready to pay the consequences because I did something I have not done since I was in my teens, "my alarm clock did not go off" that is my story and I am sticking to it.   Lips Sealed Roll Eyes Grin

So, due to Jack's dumb move, a questionable weather and the time we had been set back, we made an executive decision followed by a call from Page3man to John.

John, I hope you let us make it up to you and maybe we can set something up for the near future.

TC and I were able to make it up to see John this morning for a couple of hours.  It was good to finally meet him in person and look at his Honda 1200 and his Valk.  This guy is full of knowledge!  And smart too!  We chatted for quite a while and had a good visit.  We were able to make it back home before we ran into any rain.  Hopefully Jack can join us the next time and we can make it a Valkyrie kind of day.
