Who is doing the work?

I would think it easier to move the trike kit over to the IS, than trying to swap all the IS items off the IS to the Tour.

But would it mount on the IS, and still allow you to keep the IS items (trunk)?

Wiring harness, ICM, tank size don't mess with trying to convert a Tourer to an Istate.

Honestly there are a number of riders who convert to trike and then put on few miles before they're done.  It should be cheaper to buy an Istate trike than create one.  Don't ruin a 20K Interstate.

Ok mechanical skill is not an issue so with the question being an interstate with 90k  and a tour trike with with 30k what way would you go to end up with an IS trike

Sell the Tourer then trike the I/S.

Nothing changes. Since a lot of GL1500 have excessive miles over the 100K, all else being equal, I would rather have the bike that has been used.

Like mentioned, you should be able to get some reasonable amount of coins for the T.

If you are looking at other things, it makes good sense that once you trike out your bike, quitting riding will come soon enough. Buy a bike that already is triked, even a GW.

Good thought except the trike is my wife's she doesn't plan quitting for a long while and that is why she is thinking we should convert her trike with 30k miles to the IS  plus she is to sexy to ride a wing
