And, for those who've been down this road before...

Can you tell me which one(s) do not require the relocation of Speedo / Tach / Headlight?

Are you happy with ones that come with speakers and stereo slot?

Has anyone tried the Tsukayu version with built-in GPS?

Thanks,

DFG

I just installed a Wide Open Custom Fairing on mine and like it a lot however the opening is squared off and it looks like a HD. No relocating of the tach/headlight because the radio is mounted up high and they nestle right under the dash, but I did move the headlight housing 2" forward with a billet alum bracket from www.xf6-custom.com and also some 1 ½ spacers to also move it down so it is pushed forward in the fairing. I like the look of the headlight being even with the forward edge of the faring instead of set back like the stock position. This also hides the square opening somewhat. The radio is their upgrade to a marine Sony (iPod ready) with 4 Sony speakers which sounds great.

Hope that helps…

Thanks, Tkylli.  I saw a Wide Open on one of the Ultimate Seat display bikes at InZane IX and it looked really nice.  I particularly liked the fact that the instruments don't have to be relocated.  My stock windshield is beginning to delaminate and that's the one that got me thinking about a project.  DFG

I was there at InZane as well and saw his bike and talked to the owner who is a salesman for Ultimate. I forget his name, but he was a nice guy and gave me lots of info on it. He said he loved it so I called WOC and talked to the salesman Sam and about a week and $1049 later it was at my doorstep. It bolted right up to the Memphis Shades brackets I already had so was a pretty easy weekend install.
