Just curiosity, but has anyone measured the weight on each wheel? The manual says 3psi more in the rear, so is the rear wheel really carrying ~10% more weight, as in 45%/55% distribution?

Never weighed, but using my wood adapter, centered on the jack as best possible, I think the rear is heavier than the front, and 10 percent is a good estimate. (course, when you drop the rear wheel/tire, the bike will fall off the jack forward if you haven't blocked the engine guard)  And BTW, this is on an interstate where I think it fair to say the fairing outweighs the trunk (empty anyway).

As far as PSI, the rear tire is larger, and wheel bigger/heavier, and the rear end does all the work, torque, etc.

Pretty sure all my bikes (and all bikes) from dirt to heavyweights, call for higher psi in the rear than front.  Though I seem to recall running 41/41 in my Kawi Mean Streak.  (though I always run better tires than stock, and higher PSIs than any manual calls for.... but still, more in back than front by a few lbs)
