Took a nice mostly back road ride today and found myself in Northfield, MA heading north on route 63. I spotted a BBQ sign stopped for lunch at Highland BBQ.

Nice menu selection, but they don't do brisket. I sat outside had a very good pulled pork sandwich with a couple of sides.

On the way home I rolled the odometer over on route 56 in Leiceter, MA.  I finally made it!

Just about there...

Made it!

Nice Tony.  Now when you park it and people come over and look at the bike they will think that this guy sure doesn't ride much!
Congrats.

Maybe I can pass it off as a low mileage bike if I decide to replace it next season?   Wink

I'll be happy to tell them the full story. Stopped for gas at the Shell Station at the Route 2/202 interchange on Saturday and talked to a couple of guys. They were asking about the bile and I told them that I planned to turn the odometer over that day. They didn't believe me until they looked at the speedo that was getting close. I enjoyed their reaction.  cooldude

Thanks guys and gals for your comments and well wishes. A lot of good miles with VRCCers in that odometer turn over. I'm looking forward to more miles to come!

I had that happen when my bike had 5K on the dial.  Some HD guys said "We thought you Valkyrie guys ride a lot, guess not"

Their smirks disappeared when I told them, that's 105K. Smiley

I put a "1" in front of the speedo numbers to avert any further confusion.
