The sound probably will not be that much different, it should be quieter but not to a great extent.

It was the same thing with the Rush pipes I put on.  They sounded good, but the Torq Loopz made them sound awesome.  cooldude

Yes,
When I first put on my Rush pipes with the cats still on, I got droning around 60 mph.  I put up with it because I don't usually drive that fast, since I am usually on regular roads.  When I would hit the interstates, or the 400 highways up here, then I would find them annoying.
My main reason for the Torq Loopz was to get the better sound.  The added benefit was that the droning was completely gone and they actually tamed the pipes sound at higher speeds, so that I could hear my stereo at highway speeds.
My bike was still under warranty, but I didn't care, since they wouldn't cause any damage to the engine.  Many people have put them on with no ill effects to the engine.  The oxygen sensors are installed in the Torq Loopz, so the bike runs well.  I actually think the bike runs much better with the Torq Loopz.  Less heat under there as well.
