So here is a little follow up.
Kathy loves trains so being the great, outstanding, loving, devoted husband I am, I surprised her with tickets for the Downeaster to take us back to Brunswick for the weekend. This is AWESOME! We parked at the Woburn station rather than trying to park in Boston. Much nicer, cleaner, easier to park, CHEAPER to park. If we ever go again, we will use this station.
There were sections we were rolling at 77mph. Didn't even feel like it. It was neat to be able to see the rolling of the cars by watching the car in front of us. We went business class for the comfort. Highly recommended. The best part was I called my boss and laughed as we rolled passed the shop in North Andover on Saturday.
Once we got to Brunswick we strolled the downtown area on our way to The Daniels. We got to the Daniels and were greeted like Royalty. They had a bottle of Champagne, flowers, chocolates and a card welcoming us back.
The lady that made our cake had a 6" cake top delivered to the hotel for us as well. (I sent her a note a couple weeks back). We had private use of the hot tub and sauna both nights (Saturday and Sunday).
On Sunday, our actual anniversary, the Executive Chef and Bar Manager had prepared our wedding dinner for us. They made everything the same as the day of the wedding. Kathy and I shared the two meals. Fantastic meals. They then brought out our cake topper and had us cut it again. That was just silly. (Also scary, Kathy said if I put it in her face again she would stab me right there and "nobody would see anything". I hate when she uses my own words against me)  While we were dining they put a bottle of Champagne on ice and two champagne glasses in our room.  They allowed us to stay in the room late on Monday seeing as our train back wasn't until 530pm. They offered to the point of begging to give us a ride to the station but Kathy and I wanted to poke around the stores on our way to the station.
Kathy and I had a great time. We want to thank everyone who was there a year ago for making the day so special. On the train ride back she actually said "you can be so romantic when you want to be." I replied "it hurts me to be that way, so don't expect it often." She replied "so I guess that's over."

Glad you were able to make it a special weekend for Kathy and yourself Paul....
Evidently nothing 'bad' was reported a year ago ....   angel
