We were able to go a bit Friday eve (missed the funrun) and about half day Saturday.

Good Rally, as usual!

Seen one Valk, Maroon and Cream ( and quite dirty)

Bunch of great Bikes as always.

Seen what I'd consider the smallest gas powered three wheeler ever cruising around there.
A few mini bikes with side cars!
A motorized (gas) "Little Red Wagon"!
Some "real" choppers!

Saw a lot of the Trials. Need to find out more about that, a bit confusing.
Some go through the course going over most of the obstacles and some go through it and miss all obstacles, but it seems the judge is just concerned if the rider has to put his foot down or not! Or kill the engine!

Definitely can tell which are the pros.
One rode most of the course on the rear wheel only!!

Points are given based upon which trials they attempt, how difficult it is, and and how well they conquer it, not just riding the track.

Yeah, I figured that, but there was no one else there judging except the one guy holding his hand up with the number of fingers of how many times the rider needed to put his foot down.
Whether he went over all the obstacles, or around all of them.

I made the whole weekend. Took my toy hauler RV and new to me KLR. Never left the property and drank beer for two days. Different group of people. The number of small bikes maintained by some of the groups was amazing.  I did see some cheater 125cc bikes on the 100CC ride.
My KLR was perfect for riding around the grounds.  The thumper could idle and cruise at 4 mph all day. There were people camping on both sides of me that had Valkyrie Stds. lots of cool old rides.

I made the whole weekend.
Wife and I made it Friday eve till about mid noon Sat. (couldn't pull it off for the "Fun run" though, but going to have to fix that for next year!)
Stayed in hotel in Johnson city (way cheaper than Fredericksburg)

Definitely agree to that!!

Sounds like the group we hung with. About a dozen mid 30s aged people and each had some kinda scooter/moped vehicle.

Yea, saw that last year, but don't say anything as we hope to bring our 110 Elite next year!

Yea.
And that was just in the camping area, right?
The array of bikes in the actual show was amazing too.

This is an event that we attempt to make each year if our schedule permits.
We're gonna have to make contact before next years event.
