Help!! My '98 STD is leaking a lot of gas through the carbs.  This started after the hurricane Irma hit us here in Key West.  The bike did not go under water at all; it was on a raised platform and was safe.  The leak started after I replaced the pulse coils and all 3 ignition could due to a no spark issue. Runs fine now except for the massive gas leak. So far I have rebuilt all the carbs and reassembled.  The leak is exactly unchanged.  All the hoses are fine, the vacuum lines are fine, and I put in a new petcock. The tank is fine. Where else should I be looking?

Earlier this year I was prepping for a trip and started the Valk and fuel was pouring out the front of the bike from the carbs. It happened two or three times over one week.  I believe it was the fact that the choke cable stuck wide open. I got it loose and haven't had an issue since.

Hey guys, thanks for your help.  Leak is around carbs 3 and 5.  I think it's the fuel rail O-Ring  issue one reader mentioned.  I ordered the Red Eye kit and will be taking it all apart again.  Bumming!!!!!!!

It was an easy guess. Good had nothing to do with it.  Wink
