60 to 80 mph winds out of the southeast, for hours on end Monday.
Then, out of no where the wind shifts and comes at us from the northwest....
Trees were uprooted, split, and splintered....
Generator ran to keep food cold, frozen food frozen, lights on,
radio on to keep us informed....gas grill cooked 3 meals a day.
This gave a whole new meaning to; "pissing into the wind"

No beer spoiled during this event !!!!

Glad you were prepared.

We got off pretty easy down here. Plenty of rain but mild wind.  A few trees down and some back roads closed but we never lost power.

The power outages from this wind storm outnumbered the
power outages of the 1998 ice storm.
Over 500,000 households were without power yesterday afternoon....
Could have been much worse Dan-bury.....

Glad you're OK. Was thinking about you guys after seeing reports of wide spread power outages in Maine. You guys we're better prepared than most.

We lost power Sunday and still don't have it. We spent the morning unloading the refrigerators and freezers before our flight to Orlando.  Lips Sealed  Sucks balls. Had to fly to Florida for a hot shower

All is well with us Tony. We bought our generator maybe 10 years ago, for just this scenario.
Still thousands and thousands here in Maine still without power....
