Help me out guys, I want some options for sunglasses, wallet and similar small objects. At the moment I throw everything into the trunk of my 2000 Valk I/S but it would be nice to have somewhere up front where it is convenient to store items like this. I did meet one guy who had mounted a camera bag on his side cowling just below the vent but so far I haven't been able to find one the right size. I have also seen windshield bags but don't know which ones fit.

My Brother-da prez-fabbed up a bracket for a fits all W/S pouch on my I/S. Prior to that but I still use it my back rest has a pouch on it. When yer on a toll road and do NOT have an electronic pay gizmo the W/S pouch helps bunches as the cash is right in front of you. I'm able to git my wallet cell phone and garage door remote into the 3 pouches available. Also a small hair brush for removin the critter varmits from my beard!  Roll Eyes Tryin to figure out how I got along without the pouch as long as I did. Nuttin fancy-heavy duty black plastic has the "look" of leather with Velcro closers no conches. RIDE SAFE.

I love my Talisman tank bib with the larger pouch. I keep my clear glasses, reading glasses, flashlight and cell phone in mine.

Thanks guys, I would prefer not to use a tank pouch. If anyone has pictures of what they have done it would be greatly appreciated.

I ride a 2003 Standard with Memphis Fats/Shades Windshield.
Using the center bolt in the in the windshield I mounted an Eye Glass Case.
I also installed simulated leather Tank Bib with a small storage pouch, by Hopnel. That’s where I put the garage door opener and a bag of throat lozenges.
I put my wallet in my left fron pocket of my jeans. The cell phone goes in the right front pocket.  cooldude

While not as handy on the fly as a windshield bag, take a look at John Schmidt's signature pic, and see the little pouch he has hanging on the front of his saddlebag rail.  Those are universal fit, and available.

Another option is one of those multi-pocket vests (for warmer weather).

I have National Cycle windshield with pouches, plus I had a small leather bag (matches saddlebags) made and a friend made a mount--sits on my left side front of side panel. Works great! Also run power to both.

So I bought a Hopnel tri-pouch and modified it so it would fit on the Interstate, pretty easy and looks good. I couldn’t,t post pictures here but did put them on the VRCC Facebook page today.

Available from where?  I like the idea and need some small storage since I removed my truck.  Are they the ones for a Harley?

I don't know if you can see them very well in this pic. But I got these at a bike shop that mostly caters to Harley's. They were only in the $15-$20 range each. They have held up well for 3 years .

I know we discussed it before.  But it's still funny.

The way I find this stuff is to type in keywords in a google search (motorcycle saddlebag rail pouches), but I don't start opening windows one by one.  Instead I click images, where you instantly get hundreds of pictures to choose from, scroll down to decent contenders, then go back to the site that contains the picture (click visit page).  This backwards looking search technique is 50 times faster than opening web pages one at a time.  And it works for all kind of things.  And you find things you might never find, just opening web sites one by one, page after page.  The whole key to this trick is using the best (narrowing) descriptive key words in your original search.  If it doesn't work the first time, change up your keywords and try again.

I know how to use Google Jess, what Google doesn't show is advice on which saddlebag pouch properly fits a Valkyrie Interstate saddlebag rails.  Now if I was looking for HD rail pouches a blind man could Google those....

Sorry.  I have never seen any of these designed for a Valkyrie (or any comment on any fitting a Valkyrie).  I did mention jury rigging.  I'm pretty sure John's is a Hopnel, but don't know for sure, and don't know if he had to do any jury rigging either.  Maybe shoot him a PM.

Well I hadn't planned to ask her how she likes her picture on the seat (or anything stupid like that).
