coolsmiley  bought my wifey a 2001 750 shadow ace chain drive , this past summer and she now tells me if I can change out her risers to some risers that come back a little like on my Valk , I switched over to the La Monster risers and very pleased .... she does not like the leaning forward position because of her back .... so are Valk risers interchangeable with the lighter shadows ? are there a choice of riser heighth and pull back available ? thanks Old Geezer Richard   crazy2

You'll probably have to look for some to fit her bike, I can't be sure of her model bike, but my risers from my Valk would not fit my brother's 1100 Shadow. The bolts were to short and different diameter.  Cool

Not sure about compatibility, but you might try the "Aero" risers from the VT1100. Replaced the risers on my wife's VT1100 Sabre with the Aero risers and it made all the difference for her. One thing to keep in mind is that very small changes can have large effects.

You might also try checking a board devoted to the smaller Shadows. I suspect your wife is not alone.

i had a 750 ace and used two different risers.  one was off of an 1100 aero.  the other was off of a 750 spirit.  i don't know if the newer 750 spirit's risers would work, but the older chain drive ones are great on the ace.
