Rumor has it Bert is cooking his world famous Chicken in January up in the forest for a get-together. Maybe he will chime in and confirm.

Patti and me had a blast, good food, good friends, good time !!!!! I enjoined meeting some of the pan handle crew too, great bunch of guys.. What an amazing collection of bikes, and not just Valkyries. Jerry and Cherri thank you for your hospitality. Bert the peach cobbler pie was amazing. And a big "thank you" to all the veterans that attended. I even got the bike washed on the way home. LOL

Did anyone take a body count, with 46 bikes and a number of them 2-up I'm guessing there was were well over 50 in attendance. I couldn't make it and it would have been in the cage anyway. Maybe one day, in the mean time I'm glad it was a successful day for all.

I'm glad you got a count Casey. I had figured maybe 50 +\-. Really glad to see you and meet Lessa, help me with the spelling ??? I hope that rumor firms up cause I'd like to get back that way. Wishing things get settled down with your daughter. Take care,

I also want to say that I was one of the fortunate ones to have been there. Great group of folks . THANK YOU!!!!! Sherry and Jerry. what you do for us all is above and beyond. I thank God for people like you both. Jerry, while I love your Drifter, my favorite Valk is your Hot Rod! It's just so clean, and all business. I love it!

Thanks Pete for the kind words, the hot rod is my favorite of all my rides as well. Sherry and I totally enjoyed the gathering as well and the parts swap/give away rocked! I was floored as the the huge amount of parts there. Good times!

Thank you so much Jerry and Sherry for your hospitality once again. The parts swap seemed to be enjoyed by everyone.
What a great day. Didn't get home until 7:15 but I made a few detours along the way.
