I was thinking about using Tectron injector cleaner and wanted to see if any forum members have used it and if they thought it was worth doing?

Interesting topic and question. I have never used these addatives much. I put them in once or twice on my vehicles. Drove a 1991 Dodge Dakota 142,000 did nothing to it but changed oil, batterys and normal maintenance. No plugs or tune ups. Drove a 94 Chrysler LHS 115,000 same thing, 1994 Ford Ranger v6 112,000, Currently have a 2004 Silverado with 178,000 nothing touched  except oil, filter flushed radiator, bat and an alternator, oh ya one serpentine belt idler pully froze up at 100,000.  also I have never replaced a muffler or tail pipe on a vehicle i have ever owned. Now my boat, sits a lot have issues with water collecting in the tank. stick with non alcahol gas there. boat is 2001, motor is 2004 model suzuki 225 hp. great motor, this sits a lot and I do have to do regular  maintanence on it. Motor Cycles the same as boats if used intermitenly. All my vehicles ran great. My Silverado sitting at a light you can't tell its running runs so smooth. I guess I am afraid to mess with it, if it ain't broke don't mess with it.

Chevron Techron is about the best additive for fuel injection cleaning that there is. Now saying that I know there are others that will swear by other products but me not being a additive type of guy have proven this additive time and time again. I use it in a 50/50 mix in a separate bottle to clean fuel injection systems and 85 % to clean intake manifolds. Its really a good product and I have used it in my Valk also. I did notice a slight difference and there is no problem using it in our bikes. I always use a stronger mix than is recommended also, so when adding to your Valk go a bit stronger. A few cars that have had fuel injection and carb issues were cleared up by using Techron.

Never used that product  before.  I have had good luck with Seafoam cleaning gummed carbs on small engines...typically air cooled lawn mower types.  However, stick with ethanol free gas, or if you cannot get it, treat every tank of fuel in your bike with an ethanol conditioner product.  Using a product like this will not only improve performance and fuel mileage, it will negate having to use a cleaner period!
