I posted this on another M/C Message Board and wanted to share here as well.... maybe with other inputs here and on the other board, we can get a bigger listing of establishments that are showing their appreciation of Veteran's and Military.

I know Veteran's Day isn't til next month (November), but wanted to put this info out there for some planning purposes. If anyone knows of other Veteran's Day / Military Appreciation specials that our veterans (self included) can partake of, post it up here. And, to make it Motorcycle related.... maybe you can manage to ride your ride to one of these events.....

Pardon me for hijacking, but another military/veteran deal here in SoCal is FREE admission for the veteran and one guest at Knott's Berry Farm for the month of November (up until Thanksgiving).  You can also get up to 6 additional tickets for only $15 each if you want to take the whole crew.  This ex-squid and the mrs. go every year.  coolsmiley  Bring your ID or copy of DD214.

I've also gotten the following lately :

get 10% off every day at Autozone.

Free entry to any Cardinals game (no seat).

Don't have to stand in line at the airport. (Worth it by itself).

Is this only on Veteran's Day?
Where can online info be found?

Not sure, everytime I fly out of St. Louis (Lambert) I get pushed through all the security when they see my military ID.

Tomorrow I will ride to our local fairgrounds to honor our Veterans. Have attended the last few years, but tomorrow my Mother-in-Law will participate in the parade (she's a Navy Vet). Pics to follow......

Most businesses are pro-military these days (or at least want to appear so).  We've started asking about a military discount on many purchases.
Several cruise lines give great military discounts.
Home Depot gives us 10% off.
Cycle Gear gives us 10% off.
We just purchased a pool table and bar for the new house and they discounted over $600.   cooldude

We'll be going to Applebee's on 11-11... thanks for that bit of information!

Going to celebrate Veterans Day by going out to the range to get in a little shooting.  Thanks to all the veterans today from one old Korea Army veteran.
