Oh come on now! It was quite obvious that he was practicing "emergency braking".
Maybe he was startled by a Pink Elephant.  Most of us don't have that ability due to sobriety.

My wife hates that road!  I love it!  There is some of the most beautiful scenery a person could wish for!

About four years ago we drove to Phoenix and took that highway on the way home, actually found a spot were there’s a car about 100 yards off the road down an embankment, upside down, all burnt up!!!  My wife didn’t like me pointing out that one!!  Kinda reminded me of the movie “It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad world!” I took pictures but my computers in the shop.

Probably braked soo hard because he saw a Valkyrie or two along the side of the road and had to get a closer look at it......

Good thing the bike had stopped when the backseater fell off or was she doing a emergency egress?

It's pretty amazing that didn't end up in a high-side! They were really lucky!

If you will notice, Paul, she points to the guys beside the road and says, "hey, honey, that's the guy I slept with last night." Of which he replies, "Take this bi_ _h!"  angel Just kidding. Doesn't take but a second to screw up.

Looks like he lost focus (because of the camera?) and freaked. Even if he knew how to use the front brake he forgot how when he freaked. He could have probably made the corner at that speed too.
I’ve heard of fuel/oil on ramps causing a scooter to momentary slide and high siding the passenger while the rider stayed on the bike. Looks plausible.

I think he must have been riding with the guys with the camera, and saw them and and wanted to stop, but did'nt see them in time to do it safely. hoser
