We are not registering we will wing it. We will be in NC and we may ride up from there for a day, it's only a 5 hr ride from the cabin, we have gone that far for lunch here in FL  Grin

Ok, Nick let me know what day you plan on getting up to Roanoke, it'd be nice to catch up. Bill and I are leaving out Wed. 13th and will head to the Blueridge MC Campground for 2 nights, Hwy 276 S. out of Waynesville.
Oh darn, you may miss the "Cigar & Burbon Hour"! Cheesy  Galex is suppose to have a real Cuban cigar for us and I've got the Burbon. Sorry you may miss that offering  Roll Eyes maybe you could get there on Monday or Tuesday? Heck, I may miss it too if Galex can't make it the first 3 nights.  Undecided  I hope it all works out.

Less than a month to go!  I'll be on the look out for FL tags!  I plan to bring Cuban rum and cigars for those who care to partake with me Grin

Looks like I am out for this year.
With what we have going on here as caretakers of Lesa's Mom plus other events so far...it will be a no go.
Have not been much of a fan of 2018 so far.

Well I surely understand Casey but was looking forward to riding with you in the area. Prayers for Lesa and her Mom's comfort.  coolsmiley

Well, I think the ride up to Roanoke is going to be interstates almost all the way just to get there. Sad

However the planed return ride will be a leisurely cruise south from Roanoke on 221 through Va., NC, into Douglas Ga. Then 441 south into Fl. to 301 just north of Ocala. Then 301 to I-75 around Tampa, and home.

Quite a few small towns to negotiate but the payoff is the pace and the scenery. And the fact that I won't feel like returning to the flat, hot and straight roads of SW Fl.

It may take an extra day or two, but I'm sure the weather will cooperate. cooldude

cooldude Well the way it looks for us right now we are leaving out Friday morning sometime and getting to Rome, GA that day. Its will be mostly back roads so near 300 miles. The second day Sat. 9th we will get up to the Waynesville, NC area.Leave Sunday AM for Roanoke, then get in to GZ early afternoon. So arriving on Sunday and leaving out Wed. 13th. We will then head to Western Carolina south of Waynesville on Hway 276 and spend 2 nights at the Blueridge Motorcycle Camp ground. We are going to try and stay off the major Hways the way up. If you think you will be near us let me know. If you are solo and would like to ride in on Sunday we can try to meet up? Let me know,  coolsmiley

Well, haven't been on the board for a while, but our plans for inZane are still firm. As said earlier, will trailer up and ride while there. Leaving on Saturday June 9. Stopping in Charleston, SC for Grandkids fix. Arrive at ground zero on Sunday afternoon.

Should be a lot of fun catching up with some that we've met at 2 previous inZanes, and meeting new folks as well. Lots of good rides around there. After inZane we head up to New England. Did I say I love being retired?

Won't be long now!  cooldude

Howdy Y'all !  I've been in Roanoke since Sat.  Stopped by the Sheraton last night and saw a few FL plates.  I brought some Cuban cigars even if you don't partake it would be great to meet some of you. Its a little raining today so careful and safe riding between the rain drops...

Afternoon Galex, I remembered you were going to be up with the family and was going to try and get over to GZ.Hope to meet you at some point. Jeff, Christj; VTX Bill and myself got in yesterday a little after 12, got our rooms right away and just met lots of folks.  Wink The cook out last night was great and met even more folks.  Roll Eyes
We got up to a nice breakfast buffet and then went on a ride, maybe 110 miles. We picked up another Jeff too, from The Naples, FL area. We had meet him at some FL events in the past so he went with us on the ride. If it works out for you to ride tomorrow let me know if you'd like to join us. 850-748-5154.
