I won't know for sure until near the event date, and will most likely have my own route so I can stay with friends on the way up/back. But....things do change, including my mind.  Wink

Looking forward to it. Am thinking Lesa may not be able to go though. May need to share a room.

I may be looking to share a room also, taking a round about way there, may route through Greenville SC, Wife's sister has a duplex there that I can use to overnight in. But that is still up in the air, will know more as it gets closer.

Wink Ok it's been identified GZ and I'll be signing up soon. I confirmed with Bill today that he will be coming with me leaving out of Milton. It looks like it will be just the two of us from this area. We plan on leaving out Friday to head that way. We will be there on Sunday opening day and leaving out Thursday in the AM for the ride back.  Roll Eyes Sooo with that said I'd like to see if there are fellow FL Valk Bro's, Nick, Jerry, Casey, Bert and others with a similar plan?  ??? Let's talk if you're thinking of a similar ride and perhaps catch up in GA going up or leaving out Thursday 14th. My cell 850-748-5154,  coolsmiley

Waiting to hear what others are doing. Pretty sure I will be going to Inzane, but only for a few days.

I plan on stopping at my Buddies place in NC on the way home for a few days. So riding up with Keith & Bill is probably doable if we meet in GA somewhere?

Really going to try and make this one if possible, but like Nick, only for a few days. Would love to ride up with the group. Still time to figure out the logistics. Going to register tonight and see what happens. Will be riding up solo as Laurie will have to work and can't get the time off.

cooldude Ok, I'm making reservations for Bill and I this weekend Nick. I figured we could leave out of Milton Friday sometime and get to the Macon, GA area by Friday. Sat. make the run up thru the east side of GA towards Athens or find you and your team. I thought we would get to GZ by Sunday and leave out Thursday AM. But wanted to see when you think you'd try to leave home and end up Friday or Sat. night.
Let's try to talk soon.  coolsmiley

I may have to change my plans for Inzane, Wife is going in for cataract surgery, looks like end of march or early June. If she is still recovering when Inzane comes up, I will stay home.  I know she will not be driving for a while after that. She comes first.

I have registered for Inzane and booked a room for Sunday - Thursday night at Ground Zero. 2 Queen beds I will be looking for a roomate. Half the room with taxes is $56.00 per night.
Looking to join in with other Fla riders riding up.

Looks like a real nice hotel.

Cheesy Good morning! I just registered last night for the Big Event, InZane 2018.  cooldude
Bill is registered as well and we are ready to roll. We hope to catch up in GA somewhere with you guys headed up from FL. Also just so you know we are not staying for the whole InZane event but will be leaving on Wed. some time headed to Blueridge MotorCycle Camp Ground for 2 nights and it's not that far away. They have cabins and a great set up if others interested. Just south of Wayensville, on 276. Be safe out there and see you guys in June. coolsmiley

Bill, Rita has had both eyes done but at different times....about 10 yrs. separating them. It was just 3-4 days before normal(and much improved sight) returned. Although she was no longer driving when the second one was done, it wouldn't have been an issue in a week to ten days time. If your wife has it done around the end of March, she'll be fine by mid April or before....most likely before. If early June, depends on when, my guess would be given at least a week she'll be fine. Just sharing personal experience, and I agree....those special ladies do come first.  cooldude

Bill, I understand. I guess the thing to compare it to would be how fast she heals when she cuts herself or similar. If that's fairly quick, or close to normal, that would be encouraging for good healing with the cataracts. Regardless, hope it works out in her favor.  cooldude

I do too, she is almost blind in her left eye, she describes it like looking through milk glass. need less to say, she cannot drive any longer after the sun goes down.  And after today, I thought she was going to quit driving, she had a fender bender at church this morning, no ones fault it seems, her and another woman both backed out of parking spaces and met in the middle., but with a $500 deductible, I am footing most of the cost, insurance quoted $825 for the repair. So I got a payment of $325 today and I got to foot the rest. I will say one thing, used the mobile app for Allstate, took pictures, sent them and with in 2 hrs had the estimate, after I gave the OK, it was in the bank with in 30 min.

I registered for inZane last week. Viv will be going with me, but with her bad knee, she can't ride that far. So, we are trailering to Roanoke, and are riding while up there. It's a great area that we visited a lot while our Daughter-in-law was getting her Vetirinary degree at VA Tech. So, while I'd rather be riding up, I'm happy that we are both going.  cooldude

hey people! It's been probably over a year since I last posted anything but when I can I try and catch up on what's going on.  That said I will be going to InZane in Roanoke - I just registered :-)  I lived in Roanoke when I was a kids so this is also a bit nostalgic for me.  I am bringing the entire family as our annual summer vacation and yes I am bringing Lola, my Valk Cheesy but on her trailer.  We are staying at an AirBnB house downtown for the entire week. This is my first InZane event so I am looking forward to it.  Perhaps I'll run into some of y'all.  wish i could ride up but unfortunately I can't this time...
