Again,No success in photos.

The link you posted for the cobra tips shows them at $47.66 each or $95.32 for the pair. that's more than a pair of Grumpy's tips, and his fit the truck stacks perfectly. IMO

Here's a pic of mine I got a few years ago, and I just ordered another set for a another truck stack mod I'm doing.

Those are real nice.  I like the "bolt pattern" !!

I shopped around and got mine for $81./pair. at PDI Racing.

I don't know about these.  They aren't going into the ends without either grinding the inside of the pipes or the OD of the tips' flange, or maybe a pipe expander. I may have to send them back. Embarrassed

I know. In hindsight, I should have got Grumpys. I tried to post pics but again, I failed.  I have the pipes ID ground about 2/3 (tips inserted) and my dremel burnt out.  I am gonna get a cheapo wallyworld rotary tool to finish it.
I bought a set of cobalt drills but that chrome is hard!! I don't want to remove the pipes and may have to grind a spot to get the drill to bite.  I even thought of just pressing them in but I want the option to add silencers if the tips don't quiet it down.

Not many do. He's been talking about "hitting the pipe" a lot lately though. (I think he confused you with a pic that rockbobmel posted)

I just listened and noticed that because it was in an enclosed area behind a stored car, the sound was somewhat boomy and not that clear.  I'll do it again when it comes out.

I was going to get Grumpys tips but I had a hard time finding him so I jumped on these.  I was grinding in a badly lighted area in the cold that made it painful. I just committed to fitting them and wished I had been more patient.  I was originally believed that they would fit right into the stacks without mods. I think Grumpys do. The chrome matches nicely though.

Mine do  fit the pipes plus no need to drill holes in the stacks. I could probably duplicate them with out any problems.

Hey Grumpy, if you can duplicate this style of chrome tips that would be ready-fit, I'd have interest..? Wonder what that would cost?

i will check, normally I buy 1 in wall tube to cut them from, those would need bar stock, that would be about the only change in cost.
