I have a Memphis shades batwing on , love the looks but I'm 6'4'' and I get a lot of wind on my big melon. I have already installed the tallest longride shield that they make but the wind still hits me in the forehead.  what shields stock or custom fit. vtx, tourer, shadow or what.  Thanks

Check out Clearview shields. The thing is you'll need the original hardware to mount it. I have original hardware for sale minus the brackets that mount on the bike itself.

FM309, did you get the recurve version of the Long Rider Shield?  I'm not as tall as you but I put on a 14" recurve and it cured my head buffeting problem.

The tallest Clearview took care of the buffeting for me and I can still look over it.  I'm 6'5".  It sort of turns the bike into a sailboat in heavy crosswinds, but that doesn't occur too often.  Like Harryc said, you do need the original mounting hardware.

Houdini, I have the recurve and the tallest they would make for me was 13.5''.  Another 2'' and I think it would do the job. I don't know why they wouldn't make it any taller.
