I have decided to permanently remove the entire trunk assembly off of my 1999 interstate and i was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on how much i should sell it for? I'll even ththrow in the cb or whatever that is thats bolted on to the bottom. I'd prefer to sell it locally since shipping would be a pain in the ass. Hell i might even consider trading it for something. I'm not putting this in the classifieds yet because I'm just looking for advice and trying to gauge interest right now. My number is 8324368644 and I'm located in Houston.

They used to go for $1000 to $1200 in good shape with the mounting hardware and fender rails.

CBs used to sell for $750 to $950, but haven't brought that much lately.

You might log onto EBay (motorcycle parts) and Pinwall Cycle (who also has an Ebay store), and type in a search for Valkyrie Interstate trunk with mounts, and the Valkyrie CB radio, to get an idea what they are asking.  And check out our classifieds.

I looked on ebay after the OP posted... more interesting than what people are asking is: do an advanced search for
sold listings and see what people actually pay... unfortunately, no Interstate trunks have sold in the last month
(or whatever the time period "advanced search" is limited to)...
