Well I had my normal Thursday night ride but it was a bit of a let down…literally

This is the third puncture for this tire and this time the pump would not get full pressure so I had to run the tire low to get back to my uncles place to use his compressor and it took its toll on the tire….shame it had plenty of tread left in the centre

Its easy to drop my bags and frame so off they came and wheel off Friday night after work ready to run up to get the tire fitted

Tire fitted

While the bag frame was off I thought it was time to finish it, was always part of the tow bar frame and being it was forecast for rain all weekend seamed to be as good a time as any to do it

In the paint booth for a lick of paint

Well that is as far as I got today, Paint tomorrow

Question query and such like. Can you LEGALLY run a car tire on your M/C where you reside? Curious minds and likea dat.  2funny Like the paint scheme on yours. To American eyes-and I do have a trailer hitch on my I/S-your tow setup looks "different" for lack of a better description. Yet another query-what at you currently paying for a gallon of gasoline. Round these parts-Southern Missouri-2.25 up to 2.38 American Dollars per gallon. Currently where I reside about 21 Degrees F. and my cage and the road and sidewalk etc etc have a rather thick and slick coating of ice.  Lips Sealed When you git er back in da wind-Please-RIDE SAFE.

No not legal to run a car tire here

Gas is over $2 a liter! not gallon.....summertime and we have had a fair amount of rain this year, country is nice and green, not the dry brown it usually is

I usually ride rain hail and shine but on a new tire that is not been scrubbed in and constant rain, I think riding can wait Wink

Just a lightweight one for the longer camping trips like the cold kiwi, a few creature comforts (IE bigger tent I can stand in)

Better than loading the bike up like this ...less chance of wheel standing all the time Tongue

I haven't seen one of the hitches like you have. Did you make it or is that one from that Australian company ? I also don't know if you guys have craigslist over there, but I got this trailer for $250 .

Made the hitch

I used to have a fold out camp trailer for behind the car, to big for the bike but we pretty much wore it out on hunting and family trips

Little camp trailers are rare (and what I would love) but very pricey here unfortunately ($1500+++)...

bike trailers they want silly money for a used one, $6-700+ and new is non existant or imported and $$

But I have tents of all sizes just need more space to cart it

I will likely make the trailer unless one turns up cheap, We do have a site for selling... just been nothing on it I would consider owning (most are bad home builds)

What size tire is that? Looks extra wide in the photo.

yeah it does look fat, I even checked the size on the tire to make sure they fitted the right one.... but no its just an illusion as its std size, without the wide rear guard it looks wider than std Smiley

I think the blue frame looks good

Not that you can see a lot of it

I need to give the bike a clean, & align the bags a little better but gear was in them before I noticed I hadn't aligned them that well so that can wait, I have a new tire to scrub in.
