Been thinking about syncing the carbs on the Cobra bike.  Kept talking myself out of it because it runs SO good.  But then I asked myself...maybe slow change over time went unnoticed.  So I got the Twin Max thinggy out and played with it a bit.  It's been a long time since I messed with it.  (This bike has never had a sync) So once I had my confidence up I started.  Three of six (actually 3 of five) because #3 doesn't adjust. Needed a very minor tweak.  I m talking 1/16 to 1/8 ".  All needed clockwise adjustment so that's adding "juice" to the mix

I immediately rode up the street and back and there was a small but noticable improvement in "snappiness" off the line.  Idle was always real smooth and it still is, maybe even smoother.

Bottom line...glad I did it.

Never have done mine either. Idles smooth, runs great, no known carb issues. I won't touch it until I have something change.

It's easy to do. Mine was similar to Jeff's. Very small adjustments. But I could notice a slight difference in throttle response.

That was me too, but now I'm glad I did it

I pulled my carbs last year. Cleaned and new seals. I synced with 6 vacuum gauges. I had good results and pretty easy. I put the gauges on a small piece of pegboard so it stood above the forks.
