My first post here, tho' I have checked out  the board occasionally, for a while.  My 02's fuel rail was leaking on first start up after winter storage. Found a few posts saying wait, it'll reseal, but after 2 days, it was still leaking pretty bad.  Worst part, I had a buyer coming to look at it!  lol  So tore into it today, was able to separate the #5 carb far enough to replace the o-rings. A few hours of work, and $1.40.  Anyhow, I just got registered to post today, but all is well now, so figured I'll just say HI!!   Grin

For your second post, do you have a second Valk?

Just not lovin' it. Only put on 1.5k miles since buying last year. My VStrom is so much more fun, and I'm not really doing any long distance rides anymore. Ageing and a quad' heart bypass has slowed me down. My previous big bike was a Kawi Voyager XII....I've had 3 of those. I thought the Valk would be comparable, but just not the same.

BTW, to be clear,  I separated #5 w/o removing all the carbs, saw someone post about it, whoever it was, thanks, much faster. ( I couldn't do a search since I wasn't registered yet, and was lucky to find that post. That g'd' airbox is definitely a treat!
