I’ve read through the forum about people’s prefernces on tires for our bike, have saw some numbers on how many miles put on them. I just wanted to hear how many miles everybody has got out of the tires they have used before needing replacing. Which model tire, did you like it overall. I replaced my front tire at about 9500 miles and now I’m ready to change the back at about 12,000. I’m interested to know what people are getting especially those using the Pilot Road 4’s

I'm getting 3500-4500 on Pilot Road 4s... Fronts seem to last a
reasonably long amount of time, I'm still running an Avon on
the front of mine, it still looks good I'd have to lookup its
mileage... it probably has 7500 on it now...

I had a rear Metzeler Roadtec 01, I changed it after 12,500 mls long before the end because I wanted to try the Pirelli Scorpion Trail II like the one I have on the front. It's my second Scorpion Trail II on the front, I changed it after 11,500 mls.

I have now replaced both of my original tires.  The front OEM Dunlop gave me 9,138 miles.  The rear OEM Dunlop gave me 13,684 miles.
I replaced the front with the bias ply Dunlop and am very happy with its performance.  The rear tire was replaced with the Dunlop OEM radial tire as equipped from the factory.

Try starting one about guns or anything else not pertaining to Valkyries or motorcycles in general. You'll get "swamped".  Evil

Rears for me get around 6 to 9 and the fronts average 10 to 12.  Does not really seem to matter to much what tire I choose and I do a good portion of my riding in stop and go traffic so pulling off and stopping adds wear with little mileage.
