Hi,
I recently purchased a new (only 2 miles) 2015 Valk.  Is anyone aware of any differences between the two?  I could have had the 2014 for 9,999 but paid 10,999 for the 2015 strictly because I love the Red color.
Thanks...Keith

I think that ABS comes standard on the 2015 and of course the only color option is red.

I believe they are the same. No ABS on the 15's.
The price was the same for either year.
I also bought the 15 because I liked the red better, but the blue was very tempting. But a year newer was the breaking point.

I think the only difference was the colour option.  There is really no difference between a 2014 and a 2015 that comes from the warehouse, except maybe the price and the cost of insurance.

Sorry guys you are both wrong the 14 red Valk without ABS is way faster than either. The ABS adds extra weight and therefore is slower on both but the Black absorbs heat and there fore you get a less dense fuel air mix.  coolsmiley   Cheesy Besides mine is faster than both of yours because I'm driving it.  2funny smitten

Lednay beautiful shot btw..

When I bought my 14 there was a 15  on the showroom floor and I asked about the price and it was 2k more. I was not really interested in the resale and the bikes are the same so I opted for the 14. I liked the deeper red on the 14 a bit better also.

Did I tell you guys that I love my bike  smitten smitten

This was my bike that was just unpacked

Of course the decision to get the red was influenced when I went to the showroom and got this pic in my mind come on be honest, which would you have chosen?

That deep red is beautiful ! I was torn between it & the black . Waited on the deal & it came in black ! Would have been just as happy with the deep red ! cooldude

The 2014 was dark red metallic, black, or blue. With the blue came a bit less chrome - the headlight shell and valve covers in particular. The 2015 was only available in candy red or black. If you wanted ABS, it only came on the black bikes.
Aside from that, I believe they are identical bikes.
I opted for the 2015 in candy red - that's what sold my wife on the idea, that it so closely matched our '91 Gold Wing Interstate. Not a hard sell, either.  cooldude
I had to shop around to find a "new" candy red one in New England (July 2018). They're getting scarce in the warehouse. Still several '14s available. FWIW, I see a new one listed in Mobile, AL for $7999. Not sure on the caveats, but that's hard to ignore, even if you have to pay the additional $700 insult by not financing thru that particular dealer.
Absolutely love the bike! Mildly disappointed at the lack of options - I added a backrest and rear carrier until I get the '97 Tourer back on the road, at which point I may strip the '15 back to a solo ride.
Tridium fog/turn signals are in my shopping cart at CycleMax. The only thing holding me back is the idea of having two bikes in the garage at the same time, and not being able to ride either one due to repairs/mods in progress.  Undecided
Great time of year to buy one - prices are down, but there is still some riding left before the snow gets too deep. I may have just talked myself into a blue one, too...
