I just got an email from newenough.com.  They have the HJC CL-Max Modular helmet on sale right now for $108-112.  Black or white, that's the only colors.

I like that one because of the flip face feature.  Just passing along some info.

Nice! Just got the same email, and I need a new CL-Max.  Its the only flip-up helmet i can find in a 3X to fit my big ob-long head.

I ordered a Symax II from them last summer.  I think it was only a little over $200 and I really like it...especially the retractable tinted lens.

I paid $125 last year for this helmet, so this is a good price.  I too got the 3xl size, and it's comfortable, and doesn't feel as though I've got a vise around my lower jaw.  It's worth the price and the wait !

Bee, they have the metallic and graphic versions available also.  You just have to click on them to get the pricing.  Btw, has Rusty started using the name we gave him @ Sweet Tea & Punisher's?

The nolan flip fronts tend to fit a bigger head than the full faces (ie 2x in Flip front is the same as a 3x in the full faces). I too have a large head. I see a pattern here of large bikes and large heads in this thread.
That is a good price on that helmet. thanks for sharing. crazy2

I can't even get a 2XL Nolan flipfront started on my head.  One of the smallest I've found in a 2xl

i have a Fulmer flip up, had it a few years.

i like it really well because it has more room in front, it doesn't crowd your face, even enough room for a boom mike.

all the others i tried crowded my face too much.

Mojo turned me on to Fulmer, he liked 'em for the same reason.

i've never seen them mail order, dealer only, but i picked ours ( my OL has one too) for about $100 each.... retail then was about $140.
