I met a gentleman over at the F6C forum who has this lift. The only problem is the website is only translated to German, Italian and French! I have contacted the website for info in English. I have invited Franz to this forum. We shall see. Those lifts are for bikes with frame rails or an an adapter like most of us have on our legacy Valkyries.
I installed the center stand on the 14 Valkyrie but have not tried to use my normal lift on the center stand for more balance (like the lift adapter). Anyone else try that?

Me, too!! Am about to put the new black belly pan on, but wanted to get a decent lift first that I knew would work on our new Valks. Lots of bits underneath I don't want damaged, either by the road or the lift.

Jacking your bike up on a belly-pan = jacking your bike up on the headers.  I think it is not appropriate to jack this bike up without some kind of decent jack adapter (which I haven't come up with yet)... this one here kind of works... that the bottom of the motor isn't flat is a stability problem to be overcome...  The shock linkage, or the place where the center stand would go on a regular Goldwing, are excellent support places for a lift...   -Mike |

Harbor Freight has a similar lift (probably exactly the same) for less. $277
I had one years ago and my IS didn't feel stable on it, so I got rid of it. It's large, takes up a ton of space and cant even be used as a good parking pad when not in use as a lift. |

With the wheel off the ground far enough it pretty much just "falls out of the pocket" when you
remove the lugnuts. I need to make a more confidence inspiring lift adapter though... the large flat bottom
of the 1500's motor is great for stability.
I wonder if the grab rails would support the bike weight if lifted from there.....
The grab rails are pretty studly, you'd need to have a look at how studly you think
the frame members, under the fender, that the grab rail bolts to... I guess you're
thinking about using a block and tackle or something? Frank Smoak used to do
that with his 1500 Valkyrie.

yep.... considering lifting from the garage I Beam some how. I have an LA Chock I might be able to get it in and just lift the butt of it up.

Thats exactly it and I was able to put the lift arm under the same spot and lift the whole bike up with the lift only. |

I changed rear tire today (DarkSide) and used my 3 tons jack under the shock and had my front wheel in my wheel chock. I did have a light duty chain hoist with a lifting sling under the front of the grab rails to provide additional balance if needed, but I think it would have been fine without. I didn't have to remove bags or exhaust, thankfully.
