It may sound like a time travel but......
This is the "original" Captain from Lake Elesinore, CA who turned into CaptainJD since old registration system info was changed a bit while i was gone.

I missed you guys and our rides all together with Dennis from Blythe, Kevin & Sandy (RIP), Sue, Crash and dear friend BigMac who generously helped me to setup my Interstate at every opportunity and everybody else...

Mybgreen 99 Interstate was the first of the many bikes we owned with my wife but she still misses that one like first love.

Although, after my 99 Interstate I owned many Goldwings and BMW models I never joined any other group and even though in the past years we moved 3 times and ended up in Central CA, my wife and I  always kept our original club vests.

Yesterday we were talking and she said let's find another green Interstate.
I said why not since I sold my 2016 R1200GSA few months back.
The search of our next Valkyrie Interstate brought back all those memories and I realized how much I missed you guys and those days.
It's hard to imagine that it has been 18 years since...

with our deepest sympathy to everyone who remembers us from the past; Hello Friends!

Hello Captain, Glad to hear from you it's been a while. I just bought a Goldwing F6B and I'm going to sell my Interstate soon. I just thought it's time to try another ride. 13 great years on my Valk with a 163500 miles. She still runs great it will be hard to let her go.

Well Hello Captain.  I remember ridding with you. You brought your daughter along on one ride.  We hooked up so she and my daughter (Jenny) would each have a companion. We cruised around in the Big Bear / Lake Arrowhead together.  That was a long time ago.  Welcome back.

Yep, it happened years ago. After a Solvang ride on the way to their home between Lake Elsinore and Hemet route they've had a head on crash with an SUV. Sandy never gained consciousness and was gone within few hrs. Kevin went under multiple surgeries and eventually lost his right leg.

She was a very dear friend. My wife and I always think of her!  Cry
