I just sold my Valk to a fellow who lives in Palm Springs. He and his friend who also has a Valk bought the bike and all my spare parts as well. I'm sure she'll give the new owner many rides and memories as she did for me. Oh by the way I have a belly tank for sale as well.

That was quick.  Do you miss the old gal yet?  Did you shed a tear?  I know I will when I part when mine.  You shared many happy miles together.

Nice. I think we all knew it would only take one person to look and he would buy.

I put an ad on CL for my 2003 KTM on Sunday. Within an hour a guy called from Burbank and said he wanted it. We agreed on a price and he showed up with the cash. When I opened the garage he had a big smile on his face. He was glad he came. He came quickly, because he was afraid if it were good it would be gone if he waited. He had looked at some real junk.

Now I gotta get my Valk running better and sell it.

Congratulations on a quick sell Dave  cooldude I am still oscillating about mine. I was at about 99% sure on buying the GW at HOR. Now I think I'm going to hold tight. When I was walking towards my bike to go to lunch today it hit me how happy I am with it. I think I've owned 30 bikes or more in my life and this is the best I've ever had.

But, who knows. Tomorrow I might change again.  Shocked

Dave

Thank you for being so thorough and thoughtful today. It was a great ride back to Palm Springs and secured the thought that I will buy an Interstate before next years cross country trip. I love my tourer and will always keep my hands on it, but the change for the long ride will be a fun one. Gary has yet to ride it, but he is really looking forward to it, maybe tomorrow. Thanks again,

Hey Dave, in the same place. Saw the new Gold Wing and decided that I needed one. Hope I sell mine fast too. One of these days I need to come down and see you folks!

Well, my Valk went to a new home last night. Dave had run into a guy at Highland Cycle that had come to look at a Valk they had advertised. The bike had sold and Dave had him contact me.

Thanks Dave.  cooldude
