Mark, I'm betting that two heights would get it done. Some just want a small assist (say 1/2-3/4 inch). Others with say an Austone, may need a bit more (1.25"?) (just guessing)
But I don't need one (but thanks for asking).
Being of the shyster background, I suggest if you do this, you include a big bold warning that anyone getting this product assumes the risk and full responsibility for any damages caused if the rear tire goes flat and the bike goes over the other way (like onto their car). And they agree to hold the seller harmless for any property damage, injury or death.
And if you want more, just copy paste a short hold harmless agreement (copied off the interweb and custom tailored for your use) and require them to fill in the blanks, sign and date it (print the name under the signature), and return it to you (say with payment) before any product goes out.
Sorry that my faith in humans is so low.
Thanks Jess. Yes we are in a litigious world nowadays. Tons of folks looking for whatever advantage can get them a free ride. I think we don't see much of that in our community. I have had just one yahoo threaten to sue me when I held him to my repeatedly printed policy warning in bold red font that he keep the packaging materials if he needs recovery for shipping damage - on every document - his receipt, his install instructions, on my website and on the box label. He threw it away then found the damage and threatened to sue if I didn't fix his damage for free - of course Fedex denied it. He would not own any of his responsibility and all he had to do was keep the boxes and packaging materials until he inspected the product.
Otherwise I have such disclaimers on all my docs warning folks of potential issues (like slow down in the corners if you install the peg lower kit) that by installing the product they own responsibility for whatever happens. I have not required a returned signed hold harmless document.
Meanwhile I am looking at the design for an adjustable extended side stand that has 2 positions. Probably the OEM position, and one lower one. Welded on, in SS.
But I have to get exisitng pipe and lift adapter orders out first.
