1. Do I to plug the 2 unused hoses, coming off the Digi sync?
2. Does it matter which hose gets matched with each carb port?
Thanks, guys

I haven't done a 4 cylinder with the DigiSync . But I don't think it will matter whether you plug them or not, you are going to ignore those 2 values regardless. It doesn't matter which hoses you use, just remember which goes to which when making your adjustments.

That's too easy! Am grateful and will provide a follow-up as to how it went.

Just like all other feedback on using the Digi Sync, it's too easy. After confirming that the left bank was way off, some 50 digits or so, after syncing, all carbs are within 3-5 digits and it idles & runs terrific! This is an '81 Goldwing that hasn't been in service in at least eight years. Been sitting in someone's basement after owner died.
The Digi Sync is a great tool to have on hand!

It is ! I wouldn't take anything for it. Your GW must have been running pretty rough if off that far ?

Yes, it was. Adjusting the valves was a big part of that. It's amazing how such a simple task will make such a remarkable improvement!
I will probably replace the intake o-rings next. Only one shows seepage, but probably all are dry and cracked.
Will I need to sync the carbs again after that, or just check to see if any difference?

Anything you do to the carbs, even cleaning over time if they were gummed a bit, calls for re-synching.  Best case is you just confirm they're still good.
