I talked with Gary and Ginger this morning and they told me I could let you folks all know what is going on. Gary had five bypass surgery this past Thursday at Kansas Heart in Wichita. He is doing pretty well and has been moved from ICU to Room 119. Concerns about people finding out no one was at home has kept them from posting anything on Facebook. I told them we could keep it quiet and within our group here, but they wanted you all to know what is going on. He should be there into next week. If you get a chance send him a card at:

Gary Coltrane
c/o Kansas Heart Hospital
 3601 N Webb Rd
Wichita, KS 67226

Room 119

He has had 2 of his 3 chest tubes removed and hopefully the 4th tomorrow. Got rid of his catheter and a neck port. I have been told he is up and walking at least 3 times a day. He's in good spirits, other than worrying about farm work that is going undone!  I will try and let you know how he is progressing as I find out. Ginger is staying with friends and is being taken care of as well.

Thanks,

John

Gary wants to thank John for all his visits and support and prayers.  Gary is home and recovering well and looking forward to when he can ride his cycle again.  It will probably be awhile but he will get there. If anyone is in the area feel free to stop by and see him.  Ginger

Thanks for stopping by today.  It was great to talk with you. So glad to see you still have your Valkyrie. I am getting along well especially if I am riding. Hope we will all be able to get together and ride soon. I appreciate your concern.  Gary

Thank you for your time and for sharing all the information!
We really enjoyed the visit.   You have me even more motovated to figure out how to end up with a Valkyrie Trike in addition to our 2 wheeler...

Also, the key fits!  Thanks for a spare.

I have ran down all the orings and parts to get my final drive back to gether today, so we might see you at Cassoday tomorrow!
