My Facebook page is insane with memes with incredible analogies comparing Kavanaugh and the some very evil people, comparing Trump and Kavanaugh and some very Evil people, listing every off colored remark Trump has ever said, women continuing to post and share celebrity views, "news" pieces, etc. that berate Trump, Kavanaugh, and the right for continuing to go through with confirming Kavanaugh.  I've seen posts where people have been attacked with so much foul garbage, just for asking why they believe these things when there is no proof.  I mean savagely attacked.

My left leaning friends are posting memes that practically beg people to vote next month.  I can't recall which night but on a recent episode of the 5 on FOX, they rattled off a few blue areas within tight running states where they have registered hundreds of thousand NEW voters and that new voters typically do vote and typically lean left.  Scary stuff.

All based on an unsubstantiated accusation.   uglystupid2

On the plus side, this public character assassination and juvenile stalling tactics are starting to wake up moderates to the evils of the Democrat side. The #WalkAway group I'm in has been exploding with new converts who are opening their eyes to the dirty underhanded techniques of the Democrat party these days.

An interesting take on the situation, sure hope they're right:

If I were Trump, I'd tell the democrats, "if you guys don't want this guy, who democrats actually liked in the beginning , no problem. I'll find the most concrete conservative republican I can find and nominate him." I'd make sure I nominate a judge that would have liberals having nightmares. Kavanaugh was actually a decent pick for both sides. I'm sure there is an ultra conservative judge out there somewhere.

I'm hoping Trump gets another 4 years.  I really don't think Ginsberg can hold out that long and Trump will get another nomination who will be a conservative woman.

I understand Amy Barrett was on his list. Maybe she'll still make it and she is said to be more conservative than Kavanaugh.

It is a matter of historical record that beginning in 2001, Senate Democrats dramatically changed the confirmation process. Throughout the Bush administration, Democrats actively sought to block numerous judicial nominees, forcing more than 30 cloture votes as Republicans tried to end persistent Democratic filibuster efforts.

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Patrick Leahy (D-Vt.), voted against cloture a record-setting 27 times. Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.), cast 26 votes to filibuster Bush nominees and, in 2003, defiantly declared: “Yes, we are blocking judges by filibuster. That is part of the hallowed process around here.”

Even Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), who now claims to have been “respectful of President Bush’s appointments,” repeatedly joined with Democratic colleagues in attempting to filibuster judicial confirmations, including seven separate votes against cloture for the nomination of Miguel Estrada—one of the nation’s leading appellate lawyers—to the D.C. Circuit.

Another revelation about the polygraph test administered to Ford that the Dems hold up as being the holy grail of truth about Kavanaugh.

So they could say she took a polygraph test, they could say she was truthful, it would sound conclusive and yet its a sham. But to the American people and the news it would sound as if she was a real person with a real test UNTIL it was found out. Great deception on the part of the planners.

It is truly amazing to see how important the liars feel this appointment is to them. To go through all this and possibly to blow up the democratic party chances are just astounding to me. It shows how the courts may have been used to change the US including the Supreme court.

If the US will not take socialism willingly then they will get it by court rulings.

###
Man who administered Ford’s polygraph test reveals the two pathetic questions he asked
https://mediaequalizer.com/martin-walsh/2018/09/man-who-administered-fords-polygraph-test-reveals-the-two-pathetic-questions-he-asked

During an interview Wednesday with Fox News, former FBI agent, Jerry Hanafin, said he conducted the polygraph test on Ford in the conference room of a hotel in August. Ford also took the polygraph examine on the same day as her grandmother’s funeral.

Hanafin told Fox host Shannon Bream that he only asked her two “yes or no” questions: “Is any part of your statement false?” and “Did you make up any part of your statement?”

Hanafin said she answered “no” to both questions, and the test determined that she didn’t deceive with her responses.

What statement is the questions referring to?

She could have made the statement "Red means stop, green means go" before the exam.

Exactly my point cooldude

According to the article they were in fact general questions and the article says,

"the man who administered the test is speaking out, and he has admitted to only asking her two very basic questions about the entire incident"

Maybe another reason they are fighting so hard NOT to have the results or transcripts come out.

If I'm counting right, the senate just voted successfully on cloture for the Kavanaugh nomination.

(It's the senate, they have to hold a vote to see if they're ready to stop grandstanding and hold the real vote, which will most likely be tomorrow.)

Not much of a beer drinker, but if he succeeds in the confirmation, I'm gonna crack open a beer in his honor!

I hope they have Justice Clarence Thomas swear him in just for the giant FU to those who would use false accusations as a weapon.

The vote still has not happened but should be done in days.

Said it before,  the state that was represented down the war path in 1860 when it was controlled by Democrats is the state whose Senator stands tall in defense of the Republic and the principles upon which it stands.

South Carolina is getting it right this time. with the leadership of Mr Graham.

Lets hope that the law abiding citizens of our country get out and vote in overwhelming numbers to send the socialists in the DNC the message that their brand of gutter politics is not the way we deal with our own neighbors.

We need to send a conservative message to Obama and HRC and Schumer and the other voices of hysteria   Trial by inquisition has no place in this country. Laying in wait and attacking a man's innocent family is for cowards.   Yes Judge Thomas would be a great choice to swear in the new justice.

And the grandstanding and self bloviating continues.

Sen. Colins will be holding a press conference to tell everyone how she will vote.

Why does she need a press conference?  I know she's been a "pivotal" vote, so hold the conference afterwards to explain your vote, if it's contrary to what would be "normal".  If you're going along with party, shut up and vote, then go away.  Why are the players bigger than the game?

All these assholes might as well take knees with the way they've been crapping on our society.

Here here.  Very well stated - as usual   -  oops -  always

We are not dealing with rational people here.....

Seems a little extreme, what happened to just leaving the country? Plus there’s always the northern region of Alaska where you could just start your own little country and have everything your way!
