Took today off to take advantage of some good weather because the weather on the weekends has been crappy. Left the house at 10:30 for a ride with Sherry. Thermometer on the bike read 43 degrees. We dressed for the weather and used the heated seats and grips to stay mostly warm. Plus I used my Gerbbing jacket liner. Sherry doesn't have one.
We took a scenic route and arrived at the Alley Cat Diner in Webster, MA around noon. Had a good lunch, cheese burger for me and a breakfast burrito for Sherry. When we were ready to leave the temperature had risen to 54 so instead of going home, we extend the ride and rode around east Central MA. The foliage was mostly done, but there were some patches of nice color. Got home a little after 2:30 with 103 miles on the clock. Hoping to get at least one more ride in before I park the bike for the winter.
The pumpkin is carved and the candy is ready for the Trick or Treaters. Hope we get a lot of kids tonight.
Happy Halloween everyone!
