Does anyone have a dead Dynatek for the Valkyrie?   If so, feel free to PM me.

You going to reverse engineer it and start producing them?  I had talked to Dynatek and told them that if they started producing them again that they'd get a lot of sales, but I don't think they took me seriously.  Good luck in your search.

I talked to them as well and said the same thing.  Apparently they need to make a fair quantity just yo break even....  I also asked if they'd let me see the schematics with an NDA.  Was going to just make them for myself.  They weren't interested.

Do you think a NOS is worth $600 on a Dyna?

C5 ignition was making one for GL1500 engines. last time I emailed him, his friend and fabricator died. He did have a prototype for testing and somebody with a valkyrie he was working with. the guy just took the prototype ignition as a beta tester and moved from his know location never to be heard from again. So that was the end of the new ignition.

Things happen.  I emailed 'Paul' at the C5 website address earlier today asking about the status of that effort.  From what I can tell the engineering designs were finalized for the adapter.  If that's the case I wonder if it's possible to move forward with that?  I hope he responds.

I wish you luck in your endeavor Jersey.  It would be awesome if people could send you their ICM and you swap out the guts for Dyna 3000 knock-off technology.  Kind of like what Mark T does with exhausts...

I just got a response from Paul at C5.  He told me about his customer going off with the prototype.

GOOD NEWS.  Next year they will have a smaller design come out that can be crank mounted and easier to adapt, which I assume would be something to be mounted where the trigger wheel is located... just a guess.

I'm looking forward to that since it'll be a fully user programmable approach.  Not knocking the Dyna, but I'd enjoy working with the mapping to custom tune my ride.
