Yesterday, most of the weather guessers predicted 6-8" in my area. Measured 16" in the driveway this morning. At least they knew it was going to snow this time...

Just finished first 'cllean-up' / second gin & tonic.....
8 hours snowing produced 11" of snow....5 hours longer and the storm will have passed....

This was a tough one for the weather folks to forecast and the amount was significantly under predicted in my area. I woke up this morning to 14.5 inches of heavy snow. Even with an 8 HP snowblower, cleaning up was difficult. Had to knock down the snow at the end of the driveway so I could snow blow. Took a little over 2 hours to do the driveway, front walk and stairs. I hope this is the last storm of this size for the season.

I got to work about 10 AM. Place is a ghost town. Nice quiet day to get a lot done.

Come on Spring!

How's the souped up snowblower working out? This was the storm that really needed it.   Wink

I wish my wife was able to take a video, but she was getting ready for work, and I was trying to get her 4Runner un-buried and the driveway cleaned up so she could leave without packing it all down. As for the question, it kicked a$$. No issues bogging down and throws like a champ. Actually, I'm going to have to tighten the friction bolt on the chute because the snow comes out so hard that if I angle it down to shoot sideways, it slowly pushes it up to where it's shooting the snow way up high instead of far to the side. The price I'll gladly pay for having a machine that works this well. I'll probably split it before it gets put away for the summer to check that the increased speed isn't killing the auger shaft bushing prematurely. Either way, it still exceeds my hopes for performance.

Ahhhhh noze it  smitten

My TroyBuilt 2620 snowblower handles what Mother Nature throws it's way.....
Bought it at Lowes when they were moving out of Ellsworth....
Decent sale price, so I jumped on it.....Didn't see any real need for a bigger more powerful one.

Just finished cleaning up, seeing as the storm had switched over to freezing mist  tickedoff

We got about a foot of wet snow.  It cleaned up easily but I'm sick and tired of cold wet weather.  I need kayak time stat!
