A ride for our *Little Buddy*

"This is a very complicated case. You know, a lotta ins, lotta outs, lotta what-have-you's. And, uh, lotta strands to keep in my head, man. Work(?!?) originally precluded attending this what-have-you, but that all changed a month ago.. Lotta strands in old Duder's head. Looks like I can maybe make it after all. Luckily I'm adhering to a pretty strict, uh, drug regimen to keep my mind, you know, limber."



This event is high priority now, looks like FCR may not be do-able this year.

BUMP! Well, shucks... I've completely broken with tradition, habit, predilection, and... whatever... Looks like I'll be there, too, and I've planned accordingly. Been watching this develop the past couple of weeks, and I did want to attend right from the git-go. Eric was a special guy, as everybody knows, and it just seems right to be there to remember him! Hope this doesn't discourage anyone else from attending!!!

I'm glad you will be there. I wish I could also. I only met him once, very briefly at the South Dakota Inzane. He sure seemed like a great character ! I sure appreciate Reb for putting this together.

Yeah, I wish you could, too. Much will be remembered and shared this weekend, fond memories as well as genuine emotions, about a very special guy and his impact upon so many of us. It will be good...

You also mentioned your appreciation for Reb putting this on... Much less has been or will be said about that, but I share your gratitude! He, too, is a very special guy, and his doing this for us all, although largely unheralded, is a great thing!!!

I was passing through Greeneville and ventured over to Reb's hacienda.  We spoke of you and both wondered where in the world you were hiding.  By the way....all those gravels in his driveway have settled down a lot since  I came by to see you a couple years ago.  See ya in WV !!

I wondered what was going on! I figured it was the sun, as I don't usually put sunscreen on my ears, but... now I know...    I remember that little visit! I also remember lots of times we've shared, and I'm looking forward to more of that!!! Yeah, glad to see you haven't been deterred from going after all by me showing up...  

I'm on my way to Harrisonburg, VA, where I'll spend tomorrow night and Thursday night... come on up and join me. I have a room reserved with two beds... Room-mates are welcome... bunk-mates... well, I'm a bit more particular in selection of those!!!

I spotted Bruce and Ali in New Albany Mississippi Saturday afternoon. I passed a gas station on the hiway running a bit over the posted limit but Ali caught my eye. So I gave Bruce a ring and yep it was him saying he was meandering towards the Little Buddy ride.

I was sitting inside enjoying the A/C and a drink... and my phone rang! It was a surprise but a real pleasure to see it was you! It truly seems like a small world sometimes... Looking forward to our next opportunity to jaw some... ummmm, maybe even down a brew or two while we're at it...
