I logged in and went to see photos of members' Valkyries and noticed my photo I posted was gone. Then I went to a thread I participated in and my post was gone. And another post... Did something happen? Did I offend someone?

We are experiencing a few technical difficulties. I’m pretty sure you are in the clear.

The board appears to have been restored from a several day old backup meaning that any posts, changes, and registration approvals that took place in the past for or five days were lost.

I did what I could to correct the approvals where I could find them.  I couldn't do anything for the posts.

Mr. Willow, under your avatar/pic is  "excessive comfort breeds weakness", which I heartily agree with..

Does PttP mean "Power to the People", as in Pavel Tsatsouline book of the same title?

Just connecting dots..

Thanks,

It means "Push through the Pain".  You'd have to know something of my history to fully understand what it means to me.  It's good advice for almost anyone.   Smiley

Ahhh yes!

I suspect we have a few things in common, at 60 years young I train avg 8-10 hrs a week, and no..  not bodybuilding.

I run 3-4 hrs wk (14-17 mi), trail ruck with a weighted A.L.I.C.E. pack,  and strength train with kettlebells along with bodyweight exercises.

When the wheels come off 'civilization' I'll be ready.. at any age..

Also take cold showers and sleep on a bed of nails..

Hey Mark,

full disclosure: I've trained my whole life weights for 42 yrs, karate for 32 yrs.. so it's probably easier for me to continue training vs. someone who has trained some or has not trained in the past.

Honestly my simple goals are..
1. Never have to take a prescription drug
2. Wipe my own ass on my last day

There's no reason we can't be well and strong until the day we drop, barring cancer or something we can't help.

Getting back to health.. we cannot depend on doctors, people like me are bad for business. We don't have to sit and watch as our bodies slowly succumb to the law of entropy.

Drugs can increase lifespan but not health-span, if the two don't match up our extended lives are less enjoyable if at all..

Why work your ass off your whole life to retire and quickly fall apart, or just watch as your health slowly descends into the abyss. I'm gonna finish this thing on my feet.
