Just curious. Ours ain't good. Worst in the state by far at 232.8 per 100,000 (adjusted to population) as of today. You can likely find yours on your State gov page. https://covid19.colorado.gov/case-dataThey're preparing an "Alternative Care Center". https://www.gunnisontimes.com/content/alternative-treatment-center-being-assembledWhere are your counties at?

Lots of rumors, stories flying around here. I suspect we have had a few, but they have done no testing on the people I've talked to. Our first confirmed case was yesterday.
I've always been pretty healthy. I suspect I have a good chance of getting it due to the amount of people I come in contact with. What WORRIES me is contaminating my granddaughter and Inlaws without showing symptoms.

Tennessee has 667 cases and 2 deathsMy county as of this week has 2. The county to our west with twice the population has 2. The county to our east just got their first. 120 miles west (Nashville) has the most with over 500 cases.

https://www.cincinnati.com/story/news/2020/03/25/coronavirus-ohio-what-our-attack-rate-we-built-map-you/2911666001/Yes, awful "attack rate" in NY, Oss. 111 per 100,000. That's a bit different than infection per county -- of which you also have more than your share. Be safe!

Looks like you are indeed the worst by percentage in Colorado.
The state of Kansas has 98 cases of which 36 are in my county.
We must keep in mind that at this time even the worst cast areas are a fraction of one percent of the population there. That means our chances of catching the virus are less than 1 in 100.

Not sure about the rate of our county. BUT we have had only one case so far. He got it first of the month and has been release from confinement. Hold our collective breath.

similar here as well 1 confirmed in my small county of guessing 20K people total. bigger cities of course will have much more cases as to be expected. like meathead said someone like him who is in contact daily with others is scary indeed would be washing my hands and not touching anyone if I was in that line of customer interaction. tough times indeed. I could have it even and would feel horrible if me not showing any signs give it to 1 of my fellow coworkers in the office some not so healthy in their 60s.

Rams Not a scientist, and didn't sleep at A Holiday Inn last night but looking at the case numbers and the curve it seems like we're on a path to overtake China. https://gisanddata.maps.arcgis.com/apps/opsdashboard/index.html#/bda7594740fd40299423467b48e9ecf6Again, that is case numbers and not deaths. I hope. But what a huge population difference! Wuhan had death rates around 4%. I don't expect we'll see anywhere near that in our cities here (knock, knock). I'm afraid dramatic rise in American cases and hospitalizations is correct.

just read that most small counties around me ONLY 1 is affected with of course the bigger cities 30 miles to 100 miles away have 10-20 times that and more, so not widespread yet and hope to keep it that way.
Did say that GREEN CO. in WI where I live is the 5th safest county to avoid getting infected since is pretty rural with only 1 big town of 10000 people nearby vs. rest mostly small towns of 1-2000 people and rural farmland mostly. As long as the cows and other farm animals do not get it, should hopefully be safest staying at home.
I went into Costco in big city Madison WI last night after work and not to be racist, but why are the ONLY ones wearing a mask and gloves were Chinese? It was weird ONLY seeing them bundled up like they were all performing surgery or something? Am hoping the shopping cart I grabbed having a wet hand rail to push the cart was not infected and that was disinfectant spray being used and not someones wet germs.

Perspective Gunnison County population is around 17,000, about 6,500 of that is in the town of Gunnison. We currently have 63 positive cases, 53 pending and one death. It's not good, and the cases are growing each day. We have one small hospital, two respirators. 124 miles to St. Mary's in Grand Junction. Our state is locked down, Gunnison is a ghost town.

66 cases today (384.32 per 100,000) worst in state https://covid19.colorado.gov/case-datahttps://www.fox21news.com/top-stories/gov-polis-says-coronavirus-pandemic-every-bit-as-serious-as-natural-disaster/“Treat this like you would a tornado, or a flood, or a wildfire, or a hurricane,” Polis said. “This is every bit as serious and the loss of life is going to be far greater than any of those other events we’ve experienced in Colorado.” Polis said research shows the R0 value (pronounced R Naught), or the number of people one person is likely to spread the virus to, is between three and four in Colorado. I haven't seen the national guard trucks and buses rolling in to take us all away yet. Maybe they're just planning on dropping a MOAB or two. Wait, do I sound panicked? Our Not Welcome Sign

My wife is a math whiz so we are playing with the numbers.
As of 3-26-2020 we are 737.8 times more likely to get the Flu (Influenza) than the CoronaVirus, and we are 36 times more likely to die from The Flu than the CoronaVirus.
Not down playing the virus, whereas uncertainty is in the air. There are however 10's of millions of people with the flu, and families who have lost a love one who are like, "HELLO!"

Not to mention those who lost a loved one to the flu because the hospital is overrun by coronavirus victims. Or vise versa. Sad indeed.

https://covid19.colorado.gov/case-data454.20 cases per 100,000 people (adjusted) in Gunnison County today. Compare that to big metro Denver County at 51.13 cases per 100,000 people. Or Pueblo County at 4.19 per 100,000. Or El Paso County (Colorado Springs) at 25.76 cases per 100,000 people.

as of yesterday or so only 4 cases of the virus in my small rural Green County where I live, but I think, not sure, all of WI has around 15 deaths or so which to me is not that bad of odds one would hope? The 2 largest cities being Milwaukee no. 1 and Madison WI no. 2 nearby me 35 miles only north have the most cases as to be expected being the 2 largest cities. Nearby Lafayette County (similar to Green County mostly farmland no big cities) all rural towns 1-2000 people has NO cases so that is encouraging. I got my PC all setup ready to work from home setup VPN thru April 24th so reducing my odds greatly of getting it now that not driving into Madison WI to work and go shopping usually 1 day per week after work as well. Not to mention as well saving wear and tear on my vehicle for 1 month of NOT driving and 100 bucks savings in gas alone. Plus, I might live longer since ON Friday heading into work I almost got killed as well a prius crossed in front of me turning on a side road and I had to lock up my brakes in the country doing 64 mph missed a head on collision by about 15 feet since could not swerve to the left hand lane since a car was behind him also. How the F do you not see a car coming directly at you on the road and not slowing down to turn after I go by and NOT do it in front of me thinking I should lock up my brakes BIG TIME?

Watching a new interview on Fox News with this Crested Butte nurse who is explaining the dire situation in Crested Butte, Colorado (my home stomping grounds). It's bad there! When the national Fox News story it's posted online I'll try to find it... https://kdvr.com/news/coronavirus/crested-butte-woman-recovering-from-coronavirus-answers-coloradans-questions/https://www.foxnews.com/media/infectious-disease-expert-urges-preparation-small-communities-coronavirus-wave"If you don't have a lot of cases now, now is the time to prepare," Adalja added. "We don't want to waste time in. The more prepared you are, the less of a hit this will be when it comes to your community."

Not to contribute to bad vibes (and understanding testing is probably only now getting more widespread everywhere), but Fairfax County VA went from less than 20 cases on 20 March, to 80 cases on 25 March, to 187 cases today 29 March (only 1 death). Our population is about 1.15 million.

Here's the Fox News video I mentioned earlier of Lisa Merck, the Crested Butte nurse currently recovering from coronavirus while isolated in her home. https://www.foxnews.com/media/colorado-nurse-coronavirus-hospital-worriedIt's eye opening. The article incorrectly says her hometown is Crestview. It is Crested Butte.

This is not a number to be proud of. Gunnison County is topping the nation in per capita rates.Four counties – Blaine County, Idaho; Summit County, Utah; and Eagle County and Gunnison County, Colorado – lead the nation in per capita rates of confirmed cases, outside New York state and Louisiana, according to a USA TODAY analysis of coronavirus cases across the country. https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2020/03/28/coronavirus-cases-soar-outside-new-york-rural-countries-hit-hard/2926572001/Tipton said attention has been focused on large metropolitan areas like New York, but “on a per capita basis, the impact is just as dramatic in our smaller communities.” They take a day off from the number tallying on the Sabbath, so I fear our numbers tomorrow are going to be caca! UPDATE yes they are caca 460.02 out of 100,000 (adjusted). https://covid19.colorado.gov/case-data

Our county has now jumped up to 4 cases so far, no one has died yet.
Neighboring county to the west, over the Cascades Mountains, had 10-12 cases. No deaths yet.
