Boston is anarchy tonight as well. They just said that the National Guard is on their way. Sadly, I'm sure they've been given strict orders not to engage, just as the police were.

There’s a small beach community 4 miles from our house call Point Pleasant Beach where Black Lives Matter will have a protest today at 3 pm.

Don’t know where it will lead, or what it will turn into. I doubt they will stay assembled in the large public parking lot. They could make their way up to the boardwalk which is a couple hundred feet away or they could march down the road that runs parallel to the ocean and head north into a neighborhood with small homes or south with basically the same with small businesses mixed in. If they march about 2 miles south they will get into some expensive real estate, a town called Bayhead and then Mantoloking.

Marching west about 1/2 mile will lead them into downtown and tons of small shops and businesses and residential.

This is an white community. Why march here. It’s a summer community, small in winter large in summer.

So I'm thinking that if you want to hold church services, you'd probably be ok smashing in the windows on the Walmart and holding services there.  Police seem to be ok with that.  Church going only seems to be ok if you're going there to burn it.

Beginning to look like America needs a 21st century version of the minutemen. I know, that could easily get out of hand if it was infiltrated by Antifa  or the like.

These cities need Martial Law. This has to stop, our PRESIDENT was taken to a bunker.
In OKC yesterday and last night a few thousand protesters marching, no looting or burning.

You mean MARTIAL law, and I'm not so sure about that being a good idea. It usually means that the military is providing law enforcement - USA has a LONG tradition of NOT using this except in emergency situations for a short duration specified purpose. Eg. post hurricane strike in New Orleans (Katrina).
Jess (and probably Evan (Oss)) should be able to give us the when and where this should be used (sparingly if at all).

the last FBI stats I recall seeing said 20,000 white women are raped by black men every year..and zero black women are raped by white men every year....a 59 y.o. white woman--a friend of friends of my wife was shot in the back of her head killing her as she pulled into her home in Preston Hollow last week after shopping ..a 16 y.o. black male has been arrested...little media coverage on that one,.. huh?..who owns the media? what is their agenda?..a beat down of the Anglo-Saxon male?? Nah, of course not..the younger ones mostly who don't study history will have a hard time ..if ever putting it together....I'm beginning to think the Attic Rat put a cam  in my bike as it definitely has a lope it never had before..launched properly I can spin the rear tire all the way  thru 2nd gear..I need a tech person to tell me how to upload it to here--it's fun on YOUTUBE to listen to all the different motors and the sounds they make--the in-line Honda 6's do pretty good but my Valk has a little bit more raspiness to it. Here in Dallas last week here in Dallas on that new 205 h.p. Beemer some girl got busted big time running 150 mph in a chase with the police-- Cry she took an exit that was a dead end apparently..2 felonies the News said

[Floyd's] family has been notified by the owner of a club that Derek Chauvin was an off-duty police officer while George Floyd was a security guard. And so they had to overlap,” Crump said on CBS News' "Face The Nation." "That is going to be an interesting aspect to this case and hopefully upgrading these charges to first-degree murder because we believe he knew who George Floyd was."

Heaven forbid I should never ever hear Martial Law declared

This is not a complete breakdown of society

This is however a perfect storm of people with no memory and no honor living in cities and those ANTIFA and leftist anarchists stirring the pot.

We need intelligence and fast so govmt can nip these anarchists in the bud

IMHO the ones who need removal with severe prejudice are both white and black antifa coming into a community with the agenda of hate.

As for Floyd's murder,  yes a tragedy, an arrest and prosecution are underway.  Better to go for the sure conviction 20 yr sentence is the max.  Do not need more riot if no conviction on weak 1st degree
and fed can pile on a charge after as well.

YMMV

More black people are working when this year started than EVER in our history

Why is this forgotten so quickly?

Rioters should be arrested. Upon conviction their right to vote is forfeit as a felon. That is a lot of democratic votes lost forever. Round them all up with the national guard and prosecute them all

You can call out the guard without martial law. It has been done many many times

Water cannons and sonic cannons not bullets to break up riots

Damnation I cant get a haircut or go to worship but these freaks can riot with no consequence

That's the reason right there.

It makes no sense though, if there is 5000 people living there all year it’s a lot. There hasn’t been any police issues there. I doubt there’s more than 30 officers in the town. It’s a tourist town. Small little shops and businesses, boardwalk rides and concessions. There are some all year businesses but the town is a quiet little town.

It’s almost like protesting in the middle of a wheat field.

I’ll bet your right it’s just over 4sq.mi.

My daughter told me she heard the protest was canceled. I can’t find anything in the news. I hope she is right. But I also have heard an ANTIFA rally is scheduled for tomorrow about 15 miles from here at a Target shopping parking lot. That’s a much bigger town.

I hope that’s not true.

Heard something interesting George Floyd and Derek Chauvin, the former police officer charged with killing Floyd, worked security at the same local club for much of the year before their fatal encounter on a Minneapolis street last week. The owner of El Nuevo Rodeo said the two were in close proximity once a week for their Tuesday night shifts, though she did not know if they ever actually met while working at the club.

"We would wrap up at the end of the night and do a review," Santamaria said. They'd discuss the times Chauvin was called in to the club to remove a patron, or dealt with someone outside the club.

Maya Santamaria said she had been paying Chauvin, when he was off-duty, to sit in his squad car outside El Nuevo Rodeo for 17 years. She said Floyd worked as a security guard inside the club frequently in the last year. In particular, they both worked on Tuesday nights, when the club had a popular weekly dance competition.

Just saying if someone worked as bouncer wouldn't you think they could handle something like what Chauvin did to him.

Actually no, I don't think they could "handle" something like that. Maybe if he wasn't handcuffed and surrounded by cops with one on his neck for more than 5 or 6 min then yeah, maybe.

They knew each other, they worked together, there was history, I think that could be a contributing factor.

Update (1850ET): In his brief remarks, Trump said he would deploy military resources to quell violence and unrest - a move with little precedent in the last few decades - and insisted he was an "ally to the peaceful protesters" and that his administration is "committed to justice" for the Floyd family.

TRUMP SAYS HIS FIRST DUTY IS TO DEFEND COUNTRY, PEOPLE
TRUMP SAYS ADMIN. IS COMMITTED TO JUSTICE FOR FLOYD FAMILY
TRUMP SAYS HE'S AN ALLY OF PEACEFUL PROTESTERS
TRUMP SAYS VIOLENCE NOT ACT OF PEACEFUL PROTESTS
TRUMP SAYS INSTANCES OF VIOLENCE `ACTS OF DOMESTIC TERROR’
TRUMP: MOBILIZING CIVILIAN, MILITARY RESOURCES TO STOP RIOTING
TRUMP SAYS HE RECOMMENDED GOVERNORS DEPLOY NATIONAL GUARD
TRUMP SAYS HE TOLD GOVS. TO DEPLOY GUARD TO `DOMINATE' STREETS
TRUMP SAYS HE WILL DEPLOY MILITARY IF CITIES, STATES WON'T ACT
TRUMP SAYS HE'S DISPATCHING `THOUSANDS' OF ARMED SOLDIERS

Like nobody has died from C19.   Roll Eyes   Mkchael Baden is considered one of the best forensic pathologists in the field.  I even heard Floyd may have had hard drugs in his system at the time.  Don't hold me to that.  But even if that is true, the drugs didn't cause the neck and back compression.
