Only if you (or the original poster) chooses to see it as so. No mention is made of race or ethnicity. If one chooses to see in every person and every interaction as black or white (even if the white is latino) that person is exposing his own racism.

CHAZ doesn't exist. They can't make up their minds. They now their country is CHOP, but, wait a couple days and it'll change again.
1 Dead, 1 in Critical over the weekend in chaz/chop. Police had a terrible time trying to get to the victims who were eventually taken to hospital by chaz/chop morons.

Did you see how the 'protesters' reacted when the police tried to get to the victims ? Lets set out a few bell jars. I'll be glad to donate for a one way ticket to what country they wish to live in.

I'm curious how many times you've been called a cracker or a honkie ? I've not been immersed in Harlem, Watts, Detroit, etc. culture. But I served 4 years around the world in the USN. I can't remember one time. Maybe I'm just old and senile.

I guess is because most of us are white and we can call us white folks honkie to each other much the same way blacks can use the N word amongst themselves. You must have a very good close black friend to be able to call him the N word. Not sure why I got so upset at that black young adult but I remember some 12+ or so years ago I was already cranky at that time and he set me off with his attitude coming out of the blue like that in my face, since really to me HONKIE is not that big of a deal calling me that normally should not care. Maybe it was the FAT calling me that? or the 3 words all together big fat honkie or I am just racist? ??? I have worked with a few black folks, even in a predominately white area, and most were nice and polite and no different than white folks is when they start acting gangster that irks me much like when white folks do it as well. I do not get it when black and white young folks needing to pull up their pants, buy a tighter belt, or buy a couple sizes smaller in pant size to fit properly although when I show my butt crack, is because my big gutt slides the pants down...

He had a BIG gutt as well compared to the rest of his body. Darn genetics... I am just 50 now but maybe is time getting old......

Rhode Island Becomes First State to Change Its Name
The “official” name of the state is “The State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations.” But to those choosing to be ignorant — or those who really are — “plantations” means “a usually large farm or estate, especially in a tropical or semitropical country, on which cotton, tobacco, coffee, sugar cane, or the like is cultivated, usually by resident laborers.”
But in the context as it was originally intended, “plantations” referred to a new colony. But what does context matter when there are dragons to slay? It has been decided that we should choose to remove context and substitute personal interpretation of meaning.https://pjmedia.com/news-and-politics/rick-moran/2020/06/23/rhode-island-becomes-first-state-to-change-its-name-n566691

MAYBE. At least once a week.
While I don't ever recall being called Honkie or Cracker, I was called other names and referred to by the color of my skin on a daily basis during my high school and college years, and then again when I married my wife and we lived in a predominantly Black neighborhood for a couple of years. When I was younger, I played a lot of basketball at the local parks. Many street ball players use verbal intimidation as part of their game. One guy said he'd kill my whole white family if stepped on his foot again. Those years, my name pretty much was White Boy. White guys called me Big Man, Black guys called me White Boy. When I was in my 30's. I lived in the northern Bronx. OSS' neighborhood. He can tell you that guys like me living there are few and far in between. I was too slow to answer when the counter person said "next" in a Golden Crust and the color of my skin started echoing off of the concrete walls in the store.

I call some of my friends white ni**rs. Does that make me a double racist or just a funny guy? I swear that everything I've said is true, so help me God!
neither. Probably just a simple asshole. You just couldn't help it, could you? Cool smiley from behind the keyboard calling me an asshole. You should be ashamed of yourself. You can sit down now. You did ask. I disagree with the butcher. If you use that word in that context it does make you not funny but also confirms that you are a racist and an asshole. That would be only if you are not African-American. You're not, are you? Here's my cool smiley. ( Did you include a smiley when you used a racial slur toward your friends? ) exactly what qualifies you to be African American......Very few of the black people in America are African American. They are Americans....born here in America. Never been to Africa. I am of Irish descent somewhere wayyyyyy back there but I dont claim to be Irish American......Im an American.

I'm about fed up with this. I don't think I'm a racist, but, apparently I am since I've been called one more then once. What I'd like to say now is the truth and would be said as such, but, I certainly would then be called a huge racist. So, I'll stop typing.

In a perfect world, most are not raciest, on the other hand, if your race is attached, some will defend.
Does that make the attacher raciest or the deffender raciest or both raciest.

No, I don't think you are racist but you do tell the truth about those that would want to silence it, so the only label they can come up with is racist. The turning around of the fact that racists don't want to be called out on being racist calling you the racist so they dont have to admit their own problem. Psychological projection or projection bias is a psychological defense mechanism where a person subconsciously denies his or her own attributes, thoughts, and emotions, which are then ascribed to the outside world, usually to other people.

I was raised in the north side of Houston born in 1950 in a lower middle income family in a all white neighborhood. Nearly every family in the area was racist including my parents. My wife was raised in a east Texas lumber mill town that was extremely racist. When we got married in 1973 and she became pregnant we decided to overcome our upbringing and mot raise our kids that way. I think we did a great job of doing this and have since lived as racist free as we could. However....watching all that is happening in the USA and all the rioting and looting We catch ourselves digressing back. Sorry but that is just the way it is. I have all the respect in the world for a Black person or family who is trying to be productive members of society but have little use for looters or rioters whether Black or White.

If your dislike/distrust of someone is solely due to their actions, then you aren't being racist. No matter what the color of their skin.

Some here may know music is big in my life. Of all the music genres and styles, I've discovered there are two kinds of music, good and bad. I lean toward the good. Oss recently said something about not judging books by their covers. Lucky was a great African world and reggae musician. He had a good band and a great voice. . More significantly, he was was a good man, real deal. He was killed by car thieves in full view of his his young children. My understanding is the thieves did not know they killed the great Lucky Dube until after the fact. Those who are familiar with his music understand that he very likely would have given the thieves his car if they'd asked. I'm glad I took advantage of opportunities to see him live a couple times (very fun like this https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=G4Tq-th7cgU ) I submit this for the thread topic. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=kLGg7cOUht8

DING, DING, DING ! We have a winner ! This is the way I was raised and view it as well. I totally respect those who are productive members of society and treat everyone with dignity and respect - I'll give it back in equal measure. Violent rioters and looters should be shot on sight. Peaceful protest is a form of protected free speech and should be encouraged.

Friday night I was Ubering. Since I am trying to get disability I drive for Uber on the weekends. I picked up this nice black woman in her 20s or so, on the south side of Ft Wayne. Her destination was the far west side a little over a 20 minute ride. As soon as she got in she turned her music player on her phone on. For the next 20 minutes I heard the most vile and disgusting rap "music" I have ever heard in my life. N-word this N-word that and multiple sex acts described in detail. I grew up in the 70s and 80s listening to Heavy metal and hard rock. Songs like "Pearl Necklace", "Love Gun","Whole Lotta Rosey",ect.ect.ect. These artists hid the sexual innuendo in the lyrics. In some cases you had to think what they were saying. Not this trash they call music. Tipper Gore would be having a hissy fit right about now. The stuff she campaigned against in the 80s doesn't hold a candle to this cRap.
BLM states that racism is rampant in America today. I'm sorry I find it hard to take them seriously when they call themselves the N-word constantly. A word if used by a white person would deam said person a racist but used in the black community it's just another word. I'm not buying it..
