The site under consideration is, in fact, East of the Big Muddy.

Hooray for shrinkage! Wink

Ok, recently we've been kind of alternating East and West (as you may have noticed).  Unfortunately, due to coronavirus restrictions, the East didn't really get a fair shot this year.  So, we've decided to look East of the Mississippi for XXI.  The site under consideration is, in fact, East of the Big Muddy.

Interesting.  I'll change my guess to Charleston, WV.

We've already been to West Virginia.  Wouldn't that irritate the members from Alabama?  We haven't been to Alabama yet.   Smiley

Not a guess but based on Serk's map, Brown County, IN and Chattanooga, TN are both beautiful with some great roads.  I'm hoping either one is close to GZ.

Northern Alabama is nice but not sure they have the roads that Southern West Virginia / Eastern Kentucky have.

Nashville Indiana, Brown County has some beautiful rides and is a really nice area. We have had several Indiana VRCC events there over the years led by Paul Weber. (Hoosier Daddy)

I thought about Nashville, IN too.  Great area and some nice roads.  Not sure they have large enough hotels.  Impressive seeing all the bikes lined up on each road in town.

Well North of Columbus Ohio is out for that state. There is some nice riding in southern Ohio but I guess Lexington Kentucky, some nice riding from what I saw on the way to XX and large enough I think. Of course that is about as accurate as pulling a name out of a hat lol.

Not far from Nashville is the French Lick Resort. I've never been there but the website looks like it could handle a convention or rally of almost any size. Three resort hotels with amenities abound and it's dab smack in the middle of some great Southern Indiana & Northern Kentucky riding.

That would be wonderful.  Let's hope there is no significant participation  (oops) precipitation planned also.  Wink
Environmental conditions, roads, scenery and distance I have to travel are the most important factors IMO.
There are places I would hesitate to venture to if those categories don't fit expectations.
The GZ facility plays little to no role in my decision on whether or not to attend (with the exception of cost).  I have complete confidence in our staff to choose a great location, I just hope it's within my personal Serkle of travel.

This....word for word.
French Lick Resort is big...and nice!
And Indiana DOT has spent major time fixing the roads around it...the twisty ones we love to ride.
Just my two cents worth!
And by next year, w-o-r-k will no longer stop me from going....

Ok, back on topic.  For this installment of the Serkle shrinkage hint, Serk and his spawn will be traveling in a Northeasterly direction.  If I could find their states ridden maps, perhaps a clue with new states ridden could be on deck.

P.S.  I will not be riding in any new states.   2funny

Just out of curiosity, if someone actually guesses the correct location, will we all see a response indicating that?

Also, has a clue been removed or deleted?   I thought there was another clue as to the location but after reviewing the thread multiple times, I can't find what I thought I read.

I plan on attending if, it's within my personal travel Serkle and my financial situation doesn't change.

Well, probably.  But, just know that the contracts are not signed yet, so it's not set in stone until then.

I've wanted to get a gathering in either Kerrville, or Fredericksburg during Spring Break to replace "Gathering Of The Fools", but there wasn't much interest, so I dropped it.

Vita and I generally make it there a couple times a year. Love riding the Hill Country when the weather isn't too hot.
