A ride they've been doing for a few years now. If memory serves, a lot of the Virginia and nearby riders would ride together and a bunch of the Tennessee and nearby riders would ride together, and "meet in the middle". From some of the stories told, there might have been a little partying going on.  |

Robin Rossmell, I just spoke with John at the Allegheny Inn in Sparta. He has no (Meet in the Middle) rooms reserved for next weekend. He does have several (I think he said about 20) reservations for Sept 4-6. Hope to see y'all there on the 4th !!

Hey Charlie i was just checking i have had the room reserved since last year just wanted to see if anybody was going to be there before i pulled the trigger to go.
We really need to get out so i guess we will be there and just testing out my back from surgery in June.

Meet in the middle was started a few years back when the riders from the South would meet the riders from the North halfway across the Blue Ridge Parkway. |
