My Valk has been armed continuously for 15 years or so.
When I switch bikes, I also switch gear, including the youknowwhat.
I may or may not carry too, but the bike is always armed.
The .224 Valkyrie is a nice ballistic enhancement of standard 5.56 NATO, but I never do wildcat cartridges (or firearms shooting them) of any kind. It's hard enough to keep in good supply of standard calibers.
They seem to come and go, and many go the way of the dodo bird (like the Beta max video), although the 6.5 Grendel or Creedmore really seems to be around for good (with the right barrel length and bullet combination, 6.5 Grendel is capable of supersonic flight past 1,200 yards).
This is a simple wildcat. Take the 6.5 neck it down to 6mm blow the should up to a short neck in one step and go shoot. A 107 gr. bullet going at 2950 or a 87 gr. at 3250. Flat shooter.
