For those of you not on FakeBook, Wayne's wife posted more good news this morning (he's out of ICU):
This is a great day that the Lord has made. I want to thank EVERYONE that has prayed for Wayne Smith. This has been a very tough time for our family. I pray that you never have to experience this virus the way we have. I feel very strongly that your prayers contributed to his recovery.
Wayne is off of the ventilator and has been able to be moved to a room on the floor!!!! He has a long road of rehab ahead of him. We ask that you continue to pray for Wayne during this next phase of recovery. Again, thank you for all the prayers, texts, and calls. You ALL have made a difference, with Gods help, in our lives.

I was actually praying to the Big Guy for, "Wayne, Winghot on the VRCC, Smokin' Joe's friend -- you know who he is". Prayers will continue and I can be more specific now, but I'm pretty sure they got where they were going even without the exact address!  I think Big Guy has better logistics than the USPS. As we all know, this is a really bad virus. It's hitting our little university campus and community again. |

Best new's yet from his wife.
Update on Wayne Smith . Wayne was able to leave the hospital last night and come home!!!! We are so excited to have him home. This may be a long road ahead but we are so glad we get to experience this road together. My kids and spouses have been absolutely wonderful!!!!This is what family is helping one another and supporting one another. Love them so much!!!
