Dang I love this club!

Turns out Gryphon had the exact shield I needed, even in the right color and everything, and is sending it to me for the cost of shipping... I managed to cancel that last eBay purchase...

Woot! Love this club!

Woot! Thanks Gryphon, the package came today and went right on...

The eBay windshield on the right, the PROPER one on the left (It's the freezer that's filthy, not the shield!)

And now on the Valk... Tempted to add an Army sticker to it but leaning towards leaving it a blank canvas for Kali to decorate as she sees fit...

Necro'ing this old thread for an update, some people had expressed concern/curiosity as to how my insurance premiums would be impacted, and honestly after the generous payout I was a bit concerned as well... I just got my annual renewal, and believe it or not Progressive LOWERED my premium by $31 a year over last year.... I think I'll hurry up and pay it before they change their minds...

(Comparing person to person's insurance is not very effective, but for full coverage with many additions on 3 bikes with 3 riders, it went from $742/year to $711/year.)

Wouldn’t that reduction be because of one less bike on the policy ?

No bikes have yet been removed. Although I refer to the Standard as "Kali's Bike" and it is, it's staying on my insurance (And titled in my name) until she's settled somewhere and can take possession of it.

Nope, didn't total it.... Just gave me $6,800 to repair some cosmetic damage on a 23 year old motorcycle with ~135,000 miles on it (That I admittedly could have 100% replaced for half that amount). Guess my southern charm came through to the adjuster...  Grin
