I finally gave up on Progressive, it was like talking to a ripe tomato...with about as many brains. I even sent them the VIN decoding along with a step by step of how to break down my VIN to show them that it was an I/S, not a Tourer. They only show two different models, neither apply and both are incorrect to begin with. I ended up with GEICO whom I've used in the past. I got a better policy for a little less money and 1/3 the amount of down payment. When it comes to things like insurance, I usually will break the premium down into a few payments. I'd rather have my money in my bank than theirs. As for Progressive, they can KMA goodbye as of 9/3/2021. Nothing personal....

I have both a tourer and interstate and the difference in 6 month PROGRESSIVE premium is less than 10 bucks difference is all yearly premium paid in full upfront does help lower the rates. Weird how you are also in WI but I called Geico and was considerably higher than my very cheap Progressive insurance premiums on all 4-5 cycles. I think the more cycles you have under one policy with Progressive, the cheaper the rates are overall. I had at one time 6 cycles vs. 4 cycles under Progressive one policy and the other 5 cycles went down in price adding a 5th or 6th cycle was dirt cheap like 15 bucks more per 1 year premium is all. I never could figure out the stupidity Progressive has understanding their policies never made sense to me. For example, my 250cc 1 grand scooter costs more to insure than 1 of my 2 Valkyries do valued at 4-6K each and 1520cc much bigger, etc. My 2003 suzuki burgmann 650cc scooter is the highest price insured about 10 bucks more per year than my 2001 VAlk I/S. I think scooters are higher with Progressive than they should be, maybe they are higher risk according to their underwriting policies?
I shop regularly and was going to switch to Allstate both 5 vehicles and 5 cycles comparable rates to Progressive. However, to get the discount having the HOME insured also, their rates were INSANELY HIGHER like double what I am paying now. I argued with the lady Allstate agent since I know my ex-neighbor has the EXACT same office with Allstate I got my quote from he told me his 350K value home pricing to insure with same Allstate agent was cheaper than my 170K home, now that pissed me off. Plus he lives in yuppie vill vs. me small town in cheaper county as well I live in. My house 1100 sq. ft small ranch home his was newer 2000 sq. ft home and double the value almost with fancier interior stuff to replace in richer area of big town.
